That bird, wow! I am definitely impressed, awestruck even, very creative and talented! I have an idea for a future Multiplayer Monday. Basketball, you each build a contraption capable of throwing a standard "ball" and see who's creation takes the fewest number of tries to put the projectile through a ring. You could even do an evolution style build with multiple rounds to improve on the build. Maybe limit each round to 3 shots, 3 points for a hole in one, 2 for getting it on the second try, 1 for the third attempt and none if you fail to make the shot.
To help with the part of programming you haven't got. It's just SR latch. Which sounds fancy. But it's like 3 gates. And it's whole function is when you turn it on, it's on now. You've set it. Like "fly mode on". Now that it's on, using that your program animation. Then you reset it, with another key press. That turns it off. And you can have another Sr latch that turns on when your main one turns off and vice versa. A quick Google of SR latch and your programming and creations will jump through the roof

The Feranis looks kind of like a miniature spacecraft. Since it can ascend slowly at a steady rate, it would probably be able to exit atmo without much strain

13:22 Instead using hinge binding, use logic gates, there is a slider from -1 all the way through to +1. You can set your hinge for 90 degrees and 0.5 logic gate ''power'' will do 45 degrees, pretty sure. It can be tricky tho.
If you want multiple controls to move one steering hinge at different angles, just do a or gate that connects to the steering hinge and change the output depending on what angle :)
I watched a Veritasium video about a robot that can jump really, really high by compressing three bendy poles around itself and then releasing. it would be really cool to recreate that, either here in Trailmakers or in Instruments of Destruction
I wish I could have this bird on PS5, it's exactly what I want but looks like people are less good at building on consoles even if it's the exact same game.
@@metalburger1117 I have an idea to make that possible, it would say: "ALERT the creation you just downloaded is made for keyboards, if you don't have a keyboard and you wish to use it on controller, you will need to remap the controls, do you wish to continue?" You can press yes and every thing will be reseted to normal controls. If you press no, the creation will not be loaded. Edit: the game will now be playable with keyboards on consoles (if that wasn't a thing before)
@@SAIHTAM20Y Even though I'm Steam player, i normally play with controller because i find it more comfortable. I have to make a new version of every build with remapped controls for keyboard, everytime I wanna upload stuff to the Steam Workshop. It kinda sucks, but the devs said there'll be more controller support in the next expansion, I think things are gonna be better

I would also add a function so there's a "remap controls menu" that would show which button controls what blocks on the creation, it would make replacing keyboards buttons with controller buttons WAY easier. The menu would also show what block it is, shown on the creation itself making other blocks transparent.
