As someone that wants to start collecting, I would like to see the actual process of identifying stamps especially ones that look similar like the U. S. President stamps.
Beautiful collection of US commemoratives. It is not hard to imagine that the Zeppelins would be as rare as they are when one considers that the set cost $4.55 when it came out during the Great Depression.

That’s a damn nice collection. I love the trans-Mississippi and you have a nice set there. The 50cent is under appreciated. Don’t feel like you need to “complete” a set. Just enjoy.

I really love USA stamps. Sucks to live in Europe though since many sellers charge double the catalogue value over here. Shopping from the states is too expensive because of custom fees. Paying 5 euro for a set with 2,50 value, no thanks.

It is a shame (as well as a boon to those on a budget) that so many of the stamps from the 30's and 40's are common, some great designs there.
