GRP was my 1st high end I ever desired. I ended up going with the CQB at the time but man…that OLD SCHOOL type GRP is the way to go. Never get rid of that

@@dontbeasittingduck Mine is Kestrel Model I had special made in 2020 . It’s government size and it took them a year to build it but it’s been worth every penny and worth the wait. As a Firearms Instructor I use it in my classes and I carry it everyday. Train like your life depends on it because it does 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Great video - I love my Nighthawk Bull. I couldn’t see the rail with the light attached, does the rail/ dust cover have a slight angle on the bottom edge? Just curious as my Bull has a rail with an angle.
I'm thinking you are talking about the beveled edge along the entire bottom edge of the rail which yes it does but I do know this is a old version of the GRP so I would confirm with Nighthawk that new models do. Glad you enjoyed the video, stay safe
Another Nighthawk to consider at hte same price point...or a litle lower than the GRP recon is hte `Thuder Ranch Combat Speial`....priced the same a the base GRP....different rear derratins pattern, gold bead front, lanyard loop.....

Fantastic gun. My first 1911 (still have it) was a GRP. Sub 600 serial number.

If I see any deals I might snag one but I will say I am not a big 10mm guy, but I'll never say never.
