I LOVE THE MARINES, ESPECIALLY THIS PARTICULAR GROUP. It takes such skill and patience to learn this. This was a new corp. If you have seen the veterans take the field numerous times, you can easily tell. This video was 2 years ago. These guy are now sharp as Diamonds! Doesn’t take long for a Marine! Oorah!

People don't give enough credit to performances like these. They actually utilize the same memorization and focus as complicated dance routines for events like these use. The choreography equivalent is just as intense and demanding.

I really feel for that corporal who lost his barracks cover. Imagine all the drill hours spent mastering this, for something as innocuous as that to happen in front of a stadium of spectators.

I swear they drop the cover at this field every time? Is it a curse or sth?
They don't "stick" to anyone's head so well, especially in a gust of wind which will knock them off in a hurry. Was just telling myself that they need black leather straps for that reason.
