After I'd gotten a random 70k for the first time 3 days prior to prove that this Build Order can actually work, I decided to tryhard this Minigame until the Anniversary would run out. Thanks a lot to the minigames-hub on the NIKKE Community Discord that gave me the motivation and Build Order to do this run! I'd be lying if I said that I think it's possible without relying on RNG. I absolutely had crazy good RNG in this run and I'd reached 60k a dozen times already. However, there is also a fairly high skill cap to this game on top of the RNG layer which requires you to learn Build Order, Wave 62, when to replace towers and how to place your Bursts effectively to prevent stragglers from distracting your towers. About Build Order I've learned that reinforcing your backline is the way to go. Don't try to spend resources on the right side for mediocre towers to try to soften them up - it's mostly inconsequential and will cost you immediately if a wave spawns that doesn't pass those towers. Maximize your Blizzard Towers early on, because stalling is the way to succeed! The enemies have insane health pools and they really need to stay in place for long periods of time in order for your towers to whittle them down. About Wave 62 You need to be acutely aware of Wave 62, which contains 20x Lure and 20x Birds. They can disrupt your run very heavily by distracting towers or just leaking in sheer numbers and just end your run over and over. You need to prepare your Bursts and place them very carefully to deal with them: Identify which path they're taking, which clusters of Raptures they're gonna pass and just AoE them hard. Usually, this Wave will decide whether the run is worth playing out or not. If they spawn and take an isolated path, it's probably over most of the time because the cost of placing inefficient Bursts to deal with them is way too high. About Replacing Towers You keep 90% of the total Gold spent when removing a tower. For the longest time, I've been wasting tries by not placing Rapunzel at the top exit like I have in this video. Having her there is actually so great, because both corridors that lead to the exit have no slow anywhere nearby. Additionally, leaving the bottom plot open prevents her from stealing Kilo's buff that's supposed to be for Naked Crown so I can place the Rail Cannon there. Only when I noticed that most of the Raptures were heading to the bottom, I moved her down. And for the last moments you need to realize that all the flying Raptures past wave 76 are actually complete fodder - they die very quickly and grant you normal amounts of Gold which you should use to quickly build maxed out Sniper Towers. Replace Naked Crown at this point with Scarlet because there's no more use for her. About Burst Placement Learn to use Rapunzel's Burst. It's the most important Burst for most of the mid-late game except for the very end when only Indivilia is left. What you need to realize is that your towers are actually far more effective than you think - You just need to create the space for them to optimally do what they do best. Rapunzel's Burst is an extremely crucial tool to manipulate clusters of Raptures to clump up harder, so all of your AoE will hit more for longer. The other important part is that is that it's a very efficient tool to prevent stragglers from exiting the cluster they're in. Stray Raptures are THE biggest reason why your runs will fall apart very quickly even though you think you've easily managed everything so far. They will distract your AoE Cleave and nothing gets done anymore. All that said, I still needed quite a few tries before I got this down. There were a few tries where I believe I couldn't have done much due to RNG, but most of the time, it was actually my lack of foresight/preparation which caused the wipes. I've recovered from very crazy moments and still lasted until over 60k points before, so don't underestimate the skill cap this game has to offer! Cheers to all and thanks for watching o/
Thanks! I almost instinctively used my Burst there but realized in time that I won't get another one until the end. Since Indivilia's Worm form has nigh immunity to debuffs, I decided to just scrap Rapunzel and get Scarlet another full uptime for her Skill after using Burst. I would probably still have lost if I hadn't have done that. In hindsight, I should probably have replaced the Rail Cannon closer to the exit with Scarlet and get Snow White on Rapunzel's position. I was thinking that having one Rail Cannon to occasionally get the damage taken debuff in would be great to have, but just having Snow White blast for longer would have greatly outdone that 😅

It's not a bug, it's a feature. Whenever I click on a plot or tower it opens up the building wheel you regularly see pop up which slows down time. The same effect happens while aiming to place a Burst. This paired with pausing (pressing ESC) allows me to lose less time after placing a Burst for example, because that's when the game will briefly run at full speed. When I have multiple Bursts ready at the same time, I pause while I reposition my cursor over the next Burst I want to use. On top of this, the Rapture icon that pops up every few seconds (the one that says START) also has an expiration timer. Depending on how far the circle has filled out in red, I lose part of the benefits it provides, which are Cooldown Reduction on each Burst, Gold and total Score. They are reduced for every half second or so (at full speed) I wait before triggering it. That's why I try to save every fraction of a second I can to maximize all of those effects. I utilize this feature to drastically increase the number of Bursts I can use during the run. It's highly recommended to do so if you want to attempt to reach a high score for this minigame.
