Battlefield 1 released back in 2016 which yes that means its almost 7 years old, the battlefield series decided to go back in time to visit the first world war, the great war some called it ditching the modern
shooter era to focus on immersing players into one of the worst conflicts in human history.
Battlefield 1 ditches the insane customisation, levolution destroying skyscrapers and almost limitless variety of weapons in exchange for one of the most immersive world war games you can ever play.
It launched with its share of flaws but battlefield 1 was ahead of the competition when it comes to giving fans what they wanted, people were sick of modern shooters, it was overdone by 2016 and people were sick of the advanced movement mechanics many games like cod was trying to force into every entry after 2014 but its 2023 now, multiple new battlefield entries have released
some good and some very bad but Battlefield 1 has always remained in the background being brought up again and again over the years so I had some free time so i jumped in and im very glad I did.
So is Battlefield 1 worth buying in 2023? Lets find out
