I love when people talk about A.C.E. They’re one of the groups that I feel like don’t get enough attention along with groups like KNK and Dreamcatcher.
Thank you for doing A.C.E. I wasn't terribly surprised by the ranking, that's basically how I would have predicted it. A.C.E has amazing talent in both vocals and dancing, and Byeongkwan and Wow aren't terrible rappers either, really living up to their group's name. And their stage presence and personalities are great as well. Love your videos, keep up the good work
A.C.E really live up to their groupname, there's a reason why 3/5 of them finished in the final lineups (aka within the top 9 out of over 100 participants, the other two finished 11th and 21st) in the respective survival shows they were on (Mixnine and The Unit). I've been stanning them since their busking days and I couldn't be more proud of how far they've come. Thank you so much for making this video, I always enjoy your content!
The clips of jun sinhing were my absolute favourites. He is overall my favourite vocalists in the group but I love all of them equality. I nearly cried watching this video because I felt so proud of them :(
I've been getting into A.C.E too and they are so underrated...I didn't realise their vocals were this good though, your video has made me stan them way more.

Once again, a group that's so good that the last place can belt and has a super great voice. 2 in a row of powerhouse groups! A.C.E are honestly a group of 5 main dancers and 5 guys that could be lead/main vocals. Its insane.
I think all of them have amazing, unique voices, and that is why I listen to their music every day. But I have to say, that when I hear A.C.E.´s music, in my ears, Jun´s voice is the most beautiful one, full of energy and yet full of passion. I like Jun´s voice very much.
I totally agree with the ranking. ALL A.C.E. members are good vocal. Donghun is my bias and Chan is bias wrecker. Chan's voice is a bit brighter than Donghun. Wow always surprised me with his delicate singing voice. Jun's voice is the most emotional. BK voice is pretty much like his speaking voice, very unique.
A.C.E are indeed aces! Wow, his soulful voice omo, byeongkwan is powerful and stable considering he is not in vocal line, i love jun's voice the most idk why but grr he's not even my bias, chan's voice is so pleasant to hear very stable, donghun's, ye very powerful and versatile. People should stop sleeping on this talented group. What more when we talk of their powerful dances? 🔥
An updated version of this would be amazing because ALL of them have improved vocally by a huge percentage. All of their voices and vocals have gotten so much more open and mature. Please consider doing an updated version
Thanks a lot for your analyses. A.C.E. is the only group I stan in k-pop cause they are really talented and their voices are my fav. I love all their vocals, 3 of them (Donghun, Chan and Jun) make harmony and 2 (BK and Wow) make great contrast with those 3. I was sure that your ranking will be like that. Being objective I quite agree with you. As for preferances, when they sing together they are insane in making contrast and complimenting each other, as for solo I'd prefer Chan's voice, it has some magic effect on me. But I adore Donghun and Chan's duets, and I also keen on the trio (Jun, Donghun and Chan). As it turns out I love them all. Thank you very much once again for your thorough analyses, I enjoed your professionalism.

And I love it when people compliment A.C.E so much, they deserve all the praises.🤭 I don't think anyone is gonna argue with Donghun being first, he's A.C.E's "main main vocal" and "god main vocal", as the members sometimes call him. 😁 Junhee could be a bit higher, but it is your opinion, so it's fine. I am totally biased here of course, because Junhee is my favorite vocalist in k-pop, along with Baekhyun, I love their tones and versatility. Fun fact: they actually have the same vocal coach. It seems like training there helped Junhee a lot. He had vocal cord nodules some years ago, so his throat couldn't recover fast after a lot of singing, and he struggled with high notes. Not sure how his condition now, because (as far as I remember) the last time they mentioned it was 2 years ago, and his singing definitely improved a lot since then. I am kind of curious, have you watched any of the vlives DongJunChan did, while waiting for their vocal lessons, and also their recent karaoke vlives? They are like mini concerts, a lot of singing. As usual 😁

Can you make Onf? One of the most underrated groups in kpop. They are soo talened, every members has a distintic voice, that mixes well togerthere. Most of them are good vocalists, they even covered Shinee Everybody in the original pitch, and that says something about their talent.
I've been looking forward to see an ONF vocal analysis because I just got to know them in R2K and I'm amazed. I've never seen so deep voice as Wyatt's and Hyojin singing Moscow Moscow made my heart melt.
I don't know much about singing so I never noticed many of these things, especially the reasoning you gave for placing jun 3rd because I thought he would be 2nd. And recently, byeongkwan has been catching me off guard with his high notes and vocal stability. Yuchan being my bias I couldn't stop smiling when you were praising him. He is probably the most consistent and stable vocalist in the group. My ears have been blessed since the day I discovered a.c.e.
I recently got into Pentagon and stumbled upon your video of their vocal ranking, and while scrolling at the comment section someone said that you should do a vocal ranking of A.C.E. and I thought yeahhh!!! (as a big fan of them) and literally 1min later I got the notification about this video. Thank you sooo much for doing this video..I really love how u explained in details their vocals quality and abilities... all of them are great vocalists and for me, the ranking would oftenly change depends on the song that they sing / perform. However, I have to say that I love Donghun's voice the most as well because of his versatile, soulful voice and how great he is in doing adlibs and harmonisations... Just want to share my personal preference of their vocal ..this is not a ranking though because I don't have any knowledge about singing techniques etc..it's just personal preference of their voices.. 1. Donghun 2. Jun 3. Sehyoon 4. Chan 5. Byeongkwan I really hope that more people would watch this video and get to know A.C.E if they haven't yet. For me , A.C.E is one of the most well rounded idol group..all of them are skillful dancers, great performers and amazing vocalists. Thank u once again for appreciating A.C.E.

I love you did A.C.E and the whole intro for them was really welcoming and made it comfortable to watch and enjoy the whole video :) (I would've ranked the exact same :P) Personally I love Jun's and Donghun's singing voice the most; Jun's sounds so different from others (unique like u said) and it's always piercing right into me. His (last) part in "Slow Dive" always amazes and kills me. I know a lot of people recommend groups but I wanted to recommend someone as well: ONEUS - They have really good live singing and the deep voice rapper Leedo has a beautiful singing voice :)
I completely agree with your ranking, you said exactly what I think about every member's voice. Jun has my favorite timbre in the group, so I truly hope he can continue working on his technique in order to shine even brighter than he already does :D I'm glad (and not surprised) you really liked this group, they are power vocalist as much as they are power dancers and performers. They are above average in every aspect, and I wish they'll find lots of fame and happiness in the future!! ps. I originally found ACE wayyy before their debut, when they posted dance covers (I didn’t even know they were gonna be an idol group lol I thought I found a cool dance group) so when they released their first video with vocals I was SHOOK. They each have such good voices and they blend so well together. It definitely reminds me of slightly older Kpop, when there was a bit more emphasis on vocals as a whole in a group

I was waiting like crazy for this and, as usual, you didn’t disappoint!! Thank you so much for doing this vid, I’m really really glad you liked them, a.c.e were the ones who made me interested in listening to kpop back in 2017 and to be honest, is one of the most round groups I have seen vocally and dancing speaking (and even Chan and Donghun do rap surprisingly well!). Listen them live is an amazing experience as they do have really consistent and good live vocals, and the way they still get better and better as time passes is just amazing. Thanks for spreading love for my talented guys, I really hope they will get more recognition soon
When they debuted I was blown away by their dancing skills. I genuinely believe they are one of the best bgs in terms of dancing atm. As vocalists I feel they constitute a balanced group, if that makes sense. Also theyre not my bias group but credit where it's due: in terms of social issues, for a kpop group they are surprisingly vocally open minded. Apparently, since their CEO is a woman, they were told about women issues in the industry, idk if it was Jun who said he'd read some pro feminist stuff? That's surprising for a celebrity in Korea, since it's quite a conservative country and feminism is kind of frowned upon by certain large groups people, still. Also I love how BK really just does his own thing and doesn't care much what others think. He comes off as very free and liberated person. You know what I mean lol. It's really cool and refreshing to see.

Try checking out their bsides! Their title tracks haven’t been super my style so far but the bsides are great! Highly recommend so sick and slow dive! Mr. bass, black and blue and holiday are also a whole lot of fun. And I hope you keep checking out hem their music when they release because they keep trying new styles!!
I strongly believe that there’s nothing like “he’s got the best voice in the group”. Personal taste and bias comes into this, one might prefer one member’s vocal to another. What I love and see in one member’s voice and makes me love it is different from what another person will see and vice versa. The correct thing to say is “he’s got the best technique/skill in the group”. Voice colour and tone are subjective.
I loved the video! It was very interesting. A.C.E is my favourite group, and they are ones of my favourite vocalists of all times, not only in kpop but in general. I discovered this group through their cover of Someone you Loved, I fell in love with their vocals, before falling in love with their songs and performances. Every member's vocals are so beautiful and I think each of them are so unique, but they somehow work so well together! Obviously the three vocalists are incredible but I really love the rappers' vocals too, I wish we could here more of Sehyoon's voice because I think it's sooo beautiful. I wish A.C.E were more recognised, they're so underrated! Seeing people being impressed with their vocals in the comments of your video makes me so so happy as a Choice, so again, thank you for your video, really. Looking forward to more!

I 100% agree with this ranking!! Though in terms of vocal _stability_ during performances I think I'd rank them Kim Byeongkwan, Donghun, Chan, Jun, Wow. Also when I saw them live, I was surprised by how wows voice really stood out! Him and Donghun's vocal colors are especially nice in the lower range (they need more songs to suit this!!) Really goes to show how vocally balanced they all are!

Yay! A.C.E at last! Ok first thing, I'm really really grateful that you gave them a chance, they are so underrated that it hurts. I can't understand how people just sleep on them, for real. They are super talented, super lovely down to earth and they MADE themselves from nothing into this amazing artists they are, and just continue to improve with the years. I'm even happier knowing that you actually realized all of this and came to like and respect them. Keep an eye on them, ok? You won't regret it. Now back to the actual video, I agree with your ranking, Jun is my bias, but hey I'm pretty objective and sometimes the way he does things with his voice actually worry me, other than that I love his voice, he is a dark angel. Donghun's voice is so soothing for me, I don't understand why but it is, just as Sehyoon's (WOW), Chan's voice is angelic and powerful all the same, I don't understand. BK (Byeongkwan)'s voice to me feels like a friend and I singing in a karaoke, it's hard to explain, it feels comfortable(?). Ok, I'm making no sense here, I'm sorry. One last thing I want to say is that, one of the things I love the most about A.C.E as singers, is that each voice is unique and easily recognizable, you can say immediately who is singing which part. I've been waiting for you to do them since the moment i found your videos and you really did not disappoint 😁 I was prepared for you to put Chan first so donghun was a pleasant surprise he's been one of my favourite vocalists ever since they debuted particularly because of the emotive quality of his voice and what he can do with it all throughout (his knack for adlibs and on the spot harmonization like in the in my blood cover are so fucking amazing ) I fo think he's less consistent (his choice to make his voice sound brittle/vulnerable sometimes works against him i feel?) but there'so much to him that i'm always surprised by how talented he is anyways sorry for the rant really thank you so much for this!! As for other groups I'd really recommend Infinite for a ranking they're one of the few groups who have managed to make it outside the big 3 with good reason (and a great discography) but for now i'm looking forward to your opinion on Dreamcatcher!

I’m a new baby Choice. I’ve found Donghun from Build Up. He instantly became my ult vocalist (I’m talking overall, not just for ace) instantly. I wouldn’t necessarily think he is the best vocalist in kpop, but still his technique and his emotional delivery is just something else. I love Donghun everything. He’s my #1 vocalist periodt. Having said that, I think Jun delivers the most stylistic vocal in ace. Without Jun, ace sound may be tad bit heavy? Jun brings trendy feel to ace. Another voice that sounds so good, trendy, and stylish is BK. He is actually pretty stable as well in live stages. Wow didn’t catch my attention initially, but the more I listen to him, the more impressed I am. I can pick out his voice right away because of his vocal tone. Chan to me has the most bright and clear sound. He sounds so beautiful, but I saw that he can also distort his vocals and give it more color. Chan and DH are rightfully the main vocalists. Their high notes, adlibs, and harmonization take their vocals to the next level. Long story short, I love A.C.E. so much. I really hope they get more attention and rise from the underrated category.

I knew these kids were talented as hayll but I still get more impressed each time I see something I hadn't seen before. (and this vid is 3+ years old, well done) Chan sounds like a rock singer, a really good one, and from me that is a compliment. I just love that. Idk if that is considered a compliment by others but either way that's cool. You are so right, they are all amazing at everything. OT but BK is high key one of the best dancers in kpop, he should be up there with the usual 4 - 5 that get mentioned constantly. ^^

It seems like training there helped Junhee a lot. He had vocal cord nodules some years ago, so his throat couldn't recover fast after a lot of singing, and he struggled with high notes. Not sure how his condition now, because (as far as I remember) the last time they mentioned it was 2 years ago, and his singing definitely improved a lot since then.
I am kind of curious, have you watched any of the vlives DongJunChan did, while waiting for their vocal lessons, and also their recent karaoke vlives? They are like mini concerts, a lot of singing. As usual 😁

One of the most underrated groups in kpop. They are soo talened, every members has a distintic voice, that mixes well togerthere. Most of them are good vocalists, they even covered Shinee Everybody in the original pitch, and that says something about their talent.
I've been looking forward to see an ONF vocal analysis because I just got to know them in R2K and I'm amazed. I've never seen so deep voice as Wyatt's and Hyojin singing Moscow Moscow made my heart melt.

I don't know much about singing so I never noticed many of these things, especially the reasoning you gave for placing jun 3rd because I thought he would be 2nd. And recently, byeongkwan has been catching me off guard with his high notes and vocal stability. Yuchan being my bias I couldn't stop smiling when you were praising him. He is probably the most consistent and stable vocalist in the group. My ears have been blessed since the day I discovered a.c.e.
Donghun is my bias and his voice is awesome.And Bk's voice is so unique to me I really like to listen his parts.

Thank you sooo much for doing this video..I really love how u explained in details their vocals quality and abilities... all of them are great vocalists and for me, the ranking would oftenly change depends on the song that they sing / perform. However, I have to say that I love Donghun's voice the most as well because of his versatile, soulful voice and how great he is in doing adlibs and harmonisations... Just want to share my personal preference of their vocal ..this is not a ranking though because I don't have any knowledge about singing techniques etc..it's just personal preference of their voices..

Personally I love Jun's and Donghun's singing voice the most; Jun's sounds so different from others (unique like u said) and it's always piercing right into me. His (last) part in "Slow Dive" always amazes and kills me.

I originally found ACE wayyy before their debut, when they posted dance covers (I didn’t even know they were gonna be an idol group lol I thought I found a cool dance group) so when they released their first video with vocals I was SHOOK. They each have such good voices and they blend so well together. It definitely reminds me of slightly older Kpop, when there was a bit more emphasis on vocals as a whole in a group

I was waiting like crazy for this and, as usual, you didn’t disappoint!! Thank you so much for doing this vid, I’m really really glad you liked them, a.c.e were the ones who made me interested in listening to kpop back in 2017 and to be honest, is one of the most round groups I have seen vocally and dancing speaking (and even Chan and Donghun do rap surprisingly well!). Listen them live is an amazing experience as they do have really consistent and good live vocals, and the way they still get better and better as time passes is just amazing. Thanks for spreading love for my talented guys, I really hope they will get more recognition soon

When they debuted I was blown away by their dancing skills. I genuinely believe they are one of the best bgs in terms of dancing atm.
As vocalists I feel they constitute a balanced group, if that makes sense.
Also theyre not my bias group but credit where it's due: in terms of social issues, for a kpop group they are surprisingly vocally open minded. Apparently, since their CEO is a woman, they were told about women issues in the industry, idk if it was Jun who said he'd read some pro feminist stuff? That's surprising for a celebrity in Korea, since it's quite a conservative country and feminism is kind of frowned upon by certain large groups people, still.
Also I love how BK really just does his own thing and doesn't care much what others think. He comes off as very free and liberated person. You know what I mean lol. It's really cool and refreshing to see.

Try checking out their bsides! Their title tracks haven’t been super my style so far but the bsides are great! Highly recommend so sick and slow dive! Mr. bass, black and blue and holiday are also a whole lot of fun. And I hope you keep checking out hem their music when they release because they keep trying new styles!!

I strongly believe that there’s nothing like “he’s got the best voice in the group”. Personal taste and bias comes into this, one might prefer one member’s vocal to another. What I love and see in one member’s voice and makes me love it is different from what another person will see and vice versa. The correct thing to say is “he’s got the best technique/skill in the group”. Voice colour and tone are subjective.
I loved the video! It was very interesting. A.C.E is my favourite group, and they are ones of my favourite vocalists of all times, not only in kpop but in general. I discovered this group through their cover of Someone you Loved, I fell in love with their vocals, before falling in love with their songs and performances. Every member's vocals are so beautiful and I think each of them are so unique, but they somehow work so well together! Obviously the three vocalists are incredible but I really love the rappers' vocals too, I wish we could here more of Sehyoon's voice because I think it's sooo beautiful.

I 100% agree with this ranking!! Though in terms of vocal _stability_ during performances I think I'd rank them Kim Byeongkwan, Donghun, Chan, Jun, Wow.
Also when I saw them live, I was surprised by how wows voice really stood out! Him and Donghun's vocal colors are especially nice in the lower range (they need more songs to suit this!!) Really goes to show how vocally balanced they all are!

Ok first thing, I'm really really grateful that you gave them a chance, they are so underrated that it hurts. I can't understand how people just sleep on them, for real. They are super talented, super lovely down to earth and they MADE themselves from nothing into this amazing artists they are, and just continue to improve with the years. I'm even happier knowing that you actually realized all of this and came to like and respect them. Keep an eye on them, ok? You won't regret it.
Now back to the actual video, I agree with your ranking, Jun is my bias, but hey I'm pretty objective and sometimes the way he does things with his voice actually worry me, other than that I love his voice, he is a dark angel. Donghun's voice is so soothing for me, I don't understand why but it is, just as Sehyoon's (WOW), Chan's voice is angelic and powerful all the same, I don't understand. BK (Byeongkwan)'s voice to me feels like a friend and I singing in a karaoke, it's hard to explain, it feels comfortable(?). Ok, I'm making no sense here, I'm sorry.
One last thing I want to say is that, one of the things I love the most about A.C.E as singers, is that each voice is unique and easily recognizable, you can say immediately who is singing which part.

I've been waiting for you to do them since the moment i found your videos and you really did not disappoint 😁 I was prepared for you to put Chan first so donghun was a pleasant surprise he's been one of my favourite vocalists ever since they debuted particularly because of the emotive quality of his voice and what he can do with it all throughout (his knack for adlibs and on the spot harmonization like in the in my blood cover are so fucking amazing ) I fo think he's less consistent (his choice to make his voice sound brittle/vulnerable sometimes works against him i feel?) but there'so much to him that i'm always surprised by how talented he is anyways sorry for the rant really thank you so much for this!! As for other groups I'd really recommend Infinite for a ranking they're one of the few groups who have managed to make it outside the big 3 with good reason (and a great discography) but for now i'm looking forward to your opinion on Dreamcatcher!

I’m a new baby Choice. I’ve found Donghun from Build Up. He instantly became my ult vocalist (I’m talking overall, not just for ace) instantly. I wouldn’t necessarily think he is the best vocalist in kpop, but still his technique and his emotional delivery is just something else. I love Donghun everything. He’s my #1 vocalist periodt. Having said that, I think Jun delivers the most stylistic vocal in ace. Without Jun, ace sound may be tad bit heavy? Jun brings trendy feel to ace. Another voice that sounds so good, trendy, and stylish is BK. He is actually pretty stable as well in live stages. Wow didn’t catch my attention initially, but the more I listen to him, the more impressed I am. I can pick out his voice right away because of his vocal tone. Chan to me has the most bright and clear sound. He sounds so beautiful, but I saw that he can also distort his vocals and give it more color. Chan and DH are rightfully the main vocalists. Their high notes, adlibs, and harmonization take their vocals to the next level. Long story short, I love A.C.E. so much. I really hope they get more attention and rise from the underrated category.

I knew these kids were talented as hayll but I still get more impressed each time I see something I hadn't seen before. (and this vid is 3+ years old, well done) Chan sounds like a rock singer, a really good one, and from me that is a compliment. I just love that. Idk if that is considered a compliment by others but either way that's cool. You are so right, they are all amazing at everything. OT but BK is high key one of the best dancers in kpop, he should be up there with the usual 4 - 5 that get mentioned constantly. ^^
