How is that possible a uni can issued a pilot licence when u dont have a facilities such as an aircraft to fly and build up hours? Confused,me my self have been flying in fixed wing in Malaysia and now rotary wing in US,florida..I've never seen or heard about this kind of training...weirddddddd
At university, student only do the degree of aeronautical engineering tech. they need to complete the degree 1st then after that they will do the license which are conduct at apft for piloting & maintainance at dilog services.
First sem will be not more than RM 2k, and you have to pay the other RM 2k for flying rientation fee, then the following sem will be RM 1k ++, you will study in UTHM for 2 and a half years. The one and a half years fees will be RM125k for Aircraft Maintenance, RM 225k for Professional Piloting. Is a license training fees, and this license is applicable in all around the world. Which mean you will graduate as an official engineer not a technician. *If im not mistaken, anyone may correct me*

So proud to be one of the student of UTHM although in different course :) But just one thing, really hope you guys can improve the video by make sure when the student comment bout this course, please be more real instead of reading those scrips :) just an idea. +amirsham abdul kalau boleh sye nak try aircraft maintenance or piloting ni ... bab2 mechanical pun sye boleh buat ... cume tak tau mana yg sesuai untuk sye .. tu yg survey2 dulu.. sebelum sambung degree...
Or just pay RM200k and get your license and 200hrs from flying school ASAP. You won't know in 4 years if DCAM is going to increase the co-pilot requirement to 1,500hrs like what the FAA (USA) is going to do.
yea.DCA approved this program. When exam, student should achieve minimum 75% mark on each subject to pass. If not, they must repeat that subject. Other than that, max no of student in each class are not more than 25 person. These are some of the requirement that DCA desired. This requirement also used at flying school like APFT & maintenance school like DTS.
yes there has no any real planes there at that time. but now uni already buy a learjet for the facilities of the student. not for fly, but for the engineering courses.
Such a waste. Sbb lesen hanya ATPL saje. Baik amik lesen trus kt flying school. Lps wat degree. Xdela nk wat lesen sekerat2. Fyi pilot kne start dari student pilot license. Naik ke private pilot license. N last is commercial pilot license. ATPL ni is an optional klau oversea la. Klau malaysia mandatory. Tpi ATPL ni stakat pass paper je da bole dpt. Xperlu fly pon. Yg kne collect hours is utk dpt kn CPL. The best is buat degree kt ipta or ipts bhgn aeroplane Maintenance or aerospace/aeronautical engineering n baru further p pilot license. Ni pon fees dia mhl. Baik trus msk pilot program kt flying school. Nmpk mcm lmbt tpi tu je plg slamat. Klau nk lebih puas hati msk cadet pilot. Trus dpt keje bile hbis training. Msk lps degree.

3 kali aku apply bidang ni kat sini tapi pihak universiti tak pilih pun.... result aku OK! last2 study kat MIAT... puas hati aku

sye lepasan diploma in electronics engineering ... boleh sye sambung degree in this course ?
Susah sikit. Basically dorang ambik diploma in mechanical. Tapi inshaAllah kalau ada rezeki boleh try.
