I get it. The father of the baby (her boyfriend) left her because she was pregnant, and it was a constant reminder of her boyfriend who left her. Maybe she was emotionally unstable and visioned the baby as a doll, and was creeped out when it babbled and heard it as a doll making fun of her. Then, she was tired of the “doll” crying and “making fun of her” so she killed it. In the end she didnt care it was the baby I guess. Idk if that was the plot / the truth it’s just a guess

I understand. After the breakup, she had depression and anxiety, which led to hallucinations, causing her to think that the baby is the doll. After the doll talking and crying, she had enough and stabbed the baby with a pair of scissors. She had completely gone insane….
*”Log #67: A woman named Zoe has been arrested and locked in a mental hospital for murdering her baby with scissors. She thinks that her baby was a doll. She mumbles “just a doll” repeatedly. In the interview, her husband left her when she was pregnant. She saw a doll sitting in a chair and she took care of her like a mother. Things have started to happen after a while. Hearing voices, illusions, and nightmares. With all these horrible stuff happening, she had enough. She stabbed the doll repeatedly. She said that she felt free for the first time. We are planning the execution tomorrow night.*
