Shout out from Cape Cod USA 🇺🇸. You fellas know how to have fun with all these different races! Keep up the great content! Man these little trucks really boogie!…
You can usually roll the truck back on its feet by turning the front tires and pressing the gas :D Lovely bit of racing there, trucks are fun :D You guys need a second truck so you both can race ;D
@@PopalongRC Oh yeah, kinda forgot. I think there was just a batch issue with some of the old tamiya truck tires, the new ones you get in the 2 tires package seem super supple, as do the ones you get in the kits (buggyra, mercedes). It might just be the ones in the Man trucks, which are the oldest, might have dried a bit, or are a old compound. I've had really good tires I've bought as spares recently, so it looks like there's been a batch that was bad like some yeras ago.
@@PopalongRC We had that issue like a season before the previous one, last season everyone had good tires, dont think I heard anyone complain about dried out tires. Perhaps there could be a pile of old stock in the UK in some particular store, and then people who order from somewhere else get newer, that could explain discrepancy. :D I'll keep my fingers crossed that your future tires will be soft and supple ;D
Ah, good old truck racing. I used to race a Fat Fox (Tamiya) at Stevenage, but now I've got into FWD cars the truck has gone, sold it, but it was good fun while it lasted!!
Euro trucks are fun to run and fun to watch. At my local club they require box stock except bearings are allowed as is traction compound. The other classes run compound so it's already soaked into the carpet quite a bit. They also glued up the front sidewalls like you guys did
Love it…its a shame more folks arent up for truck racing. I’d love to have a go at this as a class. We’re looking to get a Group C class going….few of us have got those Tamiya C11 Merc chassis/shell combo, and some are using the Mazda shell so hopefully that will generate a bit of interest and get more taking Group C as a class.
Hola soy muy fan vuestro y de los tt01 truck, unaa pregunta en el min 8, las pegatinas de las ruedas good year, son artesanales o compradaS? de ser así donde ? gracias, es un gran canal !!
Stupid question, There are 3 different Tamiya Racing Truck bodies, MAN, Mercedes and BUGGYRA, correct? Does the shell makes a difference in handling of the Truck?
My truck not going well keep lose by 5 laps down , I have includes alum shaft etc, bearing , tamiya torque motor , hobbywing 1060 esc tamiya truck tyres on it . Still losing 5 laps behind and try out 2 trucks no different still lose 5 behind!! What cause it?

There is a range of tyres on RochesterRC site and you can get a discount using PopalongRC code .. check with local drivers which compound is best for you track 24-25 soft 28-33 med 34+ is hard
@@PopalongRC it’d be awesome to see you there and also get some exposure for the club, try and get more people into our boring to watch fabulous sport 😂
Are we witnessing the new Murray Walker? Awesome commentary
👍😂🎤
I think some of the driver's are going to be visited by the race stewarts! Possible penalties. 😉

It is a lottery as to weather you get a good set…
But of all the tyres in the day those on Nathan’s truck felt softest

That looked like so much fun! Wish I could of made it with my truck! Hopefully I can make the next truck race 👍🏻
We will clear it with the club and maybe get a few more drivers
That was a fun video to watch I enjoyed your talks with the other racers. You did a great job, but we didn't get to see the end of the final.
It was not as fun as the sprint race
Looks a hoot👍👍.....Disappointed no one mentioned a "Duck" Breaker one nine..😂😂
Hahaha 🤣

Always fancied the truck racing, would be absolutely epic carnage with trailers attached. Much like when oval cubs run caravan races.
that would be hilarious
Those trucks are cool! 👍😎
Please have more of these races! 🏁🏆🚚🚛🚚🚙
hoping to do it once a month.
@@PopalongRC Awesome! Look forward to it.
Didn’t realise they raced trucks there I may have to get mine dusted down.
it is not a every week thing ....
YET

You guys need to come back to Stevenage for a truck race
Definitely 👍
Great presentation. Can't await to get my run. Seems as if your rules are more liberate than here, that's cool and allowes more modifications.
only allowed bearings oil shocks aluminum drive shaft and steering turnbuckles.
needs to be stock spur gear and tyres - no additive.
@@PopalongRC thanks for the info. Seems as if there are international standards
These are the rules our club agreed too there is a problem

They should come with a standard brushless not that old school stuff!
Gearing for brushless is not ideal
The head of them just make the azzslide all over ………….😀🤣🍻

I call it traction roll.
No it is definitely grip roll
@@PopalongRC we call it traction roll in our country I've also heard it in sporting events call traction roll.
