THREE WEEKS and three days after the film was finished...it remains unreleased to the public!!! This after client rushed us not giving us enough time to make it as good as it should be because they wanted the film aired before December. I was told the client wanted to reedit the film themselves! As an internationally renowned advertising producer once told me, when I was still a fledgling advertising producer myself in the top ad agency here in the Philippines more than 4 decades ago, “Why is it that your clients cannot give you enough time to do your commercials right…but will give you all the time to correct it when they think there is something wrong?”I heard from the account executive that the client found it "a little too long"...plus other anti-creative comments. So, I took the cue to reedit the film removing about 1 minute of product talk that were irrelevant to the story in the first place. The result is this even faster paced film I call my "Director's Cut"...and shared it on my wall for all to see and share as well! It no longer matters what client does with the film for their own use...or unuse! :-) (It is their prerogative what to do with their film...as it is my prerogative under the intellectual property right of the artist who created the film to share it to inspire and touch the hearts of people!)
