      My Cheapest bow is a 45# Turkish style, lots of strain, 6 months, thousands of arrows, still going strong, guess the real test, will be if the Company replaces it no quibbles.

      @@LOFIGSD Without context on your bow being given, the word cheap can be subjective in this context. We don't know if your cheapest bow is a 300$ bow or a 40$ bow. For all we know, you have 6 bows all between 1500$ and 300$. I'd say a bow isn't really a cheap bow unless it's under $100. Below 200$ is budget, higher than 300$ would be average...and so on.

    Now I've read all the comments up till now 71 I believe. Not one person yet has mentioned that on your first 3 shots the lower limb bent correctly but if you review the footage you'll notice the upper limb only bent about 2" below the kassan eye. That bow was never checked for proper tiller it balance at any draw length or you would have obviously seen it. I noticed it as soon as you said it was stiff feeling lower part of the upper limb just kinda leaned at you. You can see it on the tiller tree also when you checked for poundage. Not checking tiller on a bow at the factory is definitely piss pour quality control. Please let us viewers know how the company responds to warranty I'm curious. Thanks for another great review my friend.

      My AF 50 Lb Longbow snapped while it was hanging in its rack, I left it strung to stretch the string and it went bang! AF asked a few questions an requested a few photos sent Me a new one ASAP which has performed perfect for three years and is a favourite in My collection, AF even let Me have the replacement Bow in 45 Lb as I politely asked. Great after sales service in My case .Have a good one Tammy.

    I purchased Flint 30# few weeks ago and I was surprised how light it is. I also purchased Freddy Archery Nomad 48"- 40#, and 53"-50# and White Feathers Carbon Forever 53"-35# and to be honest I like Flint 48"-30# the most. I use Skylon Edge 400-33"-150grn-5" shield with every bow and arrow from Flint have same penetration depth as Nomad 48"-40#. Don't use 5" feathers on Edge, feathers looks ridiculously oversized :) I must cut them with hot wire.

      The Buck Trail Hayk is a rebranded AF Tatar bow. It would make sense that the Flint is also a rebranded AF bow. I'd be really surprised if an established company like Win & Win would make a really blatant exact copy of another company's product.

    • @qiang2007
      @qiang2007 3 роки тому +1

      @@Daylon91 It's a rebranded AF bow. It looks exactly like an AF bow all the down to the bow sleeve being exactly the same with the black fabric and single red stripe. It often makes more business sense to rebrand someone else's mass produced product rather than do your own R&D work for a niche market product that is outside of your regular product line. Plus, no reputable company is going to put in the R&D work to make an EXACT duplicate of another company's product. It would make the company an easy target for getting sued. And it also makes no sense from a marketing perspective to keep all the little finish details the same as a competitor. It's not exactly great business sense to put in a bunch of development work to make your product not stand out from the competition in any way.

      Depends on what the laminated materials are. Horn in Korean hornbows can shatter into splinters that go flying. I had my second hornbow do just that with one piece of horn leaving a two cm long cut about the same distance below my left eye. That's my personal experience. I've seen two other occasions when this has happened with no injuries. One archer now wraps bands of serving along the limbs of his bows so that any splinters from a breakage will be caught in the wraps.

    yes but it broke because you stretched it too much not because the bow sucks .... otherwise the other one would have broken too. the bows stretch within their limits, especially the Turks, otherwise I buy a manchu bow
