Beautiful shots of Death Valley and really enjoyed seeing Dana and Joe's truck! I love my morning coffee, but having it with you guys really gets my day off to a great start!!
Just subscribed to your channel. Thanks for the great videos. Watching your adventures are helping me get through these tough days where everything fun is closed.
Awesome video, thanks guys! Love Luna showing some attitude ;) I have a brat-cat too, Daisy, blatantly disregarding most rules...love her though, and two others, Simon and Sissy (perfect angels-almost). Thanks for letting us tag along on your adventures!
Awesome video! Biked (pedaled!) in Death Valley, for four days. 107F degree days. 50 degree nights. Weird. Severe sunburn (still have the scars from a decade ago), on the left side of body as I pedaled in the heat, with an empty water bottle for 50 miles. Sat in bathtub of ice at Stovepipe Wells. We loved the Toll Road restaurant. A nice substitute from eating MRE's.
Ah southern California those were some of the hardest days in my life. Word of advice when going through the desert make sure to stick to the trails we used to catch travelers going through the training area for 29 palms base which felt like it never ended when I was stationed there. Most of the time its a honest mistake but bear in mind they do alot of shooting out there so just a heads up. Keep up the great vids!
Upon your return to hang a teakettle at the Junction, it would be great if you left some swag (like stickers & patches) inside the kettle as an Easter Egg! That is what we did on our adventure trip with the Deadman Off-Road crew last December. Check out our kettle for some stickers! Excited to watch your next video.
Was in DVNP November 2018. Hit many of the same spots as you guys, great scenery and not too crowded off-season. I would agree about the porta potty at the Race Track camping area - practically unbearable. There was also the most brazen skunk I have ever seen raiding everyone’s camp when we were there. Took a neighbor camper about an hour to get it out of their food bag that they left out. I mean, how do you motivate a skunk just enough but not too much. I thought it was funny until it came over to our camp. Then it was my problem. Eventually I convinced it to leave with just enough motivation.
I'm assuming you guys are currently in DV? We'll be heading there on DS Motos early next week and I'm curious how the road conditions are over saline valley north to Lippincott and over to the racetrack.. I hear there was a bit snow in saline but I'm assuming it's all melted by now. Appreciate any info! Thanks!
How do you find these cool off-trail spots like the mines? I also saw you found some cool scrambling places in sedona, am interested to know how you find that kind of stuff as that is my favorite type of hike!
@@BoundForNowhere thanks god, u both are fine.....definitely enjoy all of your vids, and i cant wait to see another cool vids from u guys. hope u guys always safe and healthy, love from indonesia (sorry, my english is really bad)
love the vid! the bass drum in the music couldnt keep the beat and drove me crazy! but other than that...! lol you could see someone cut the cable netting so they could access the mine. kids!
Hi guys. Are you still in the DV area? Do have any current info in the telescope peak trail. Is it clear of snow and ice? What is daytime temp around DV. THANKS
Hello .. I had a question about security.. How do you guys address security? You guys are mostly all alone in wilderness and specially when camping at night. That is one thing that freaks me out and keeps me from taking my family out all alone in such areas.
We just lock our doors at night. In all of our years on the road we've never had an issue. You just have to listen to your gut! But we're usually so far out we hardly see anyone anyways!
I'm just here because you briefly mentioned Saline Valley. I camped there for the first time back in February and it's one of my favorite spots of all time! Crossing my fingers I can go back next year 😃
Just came from your rebuild of the 4x4 with everyone crying what? No bathroom?1 We retired to Lone Pine 2 years ago as we camped and fished in the sierras there. We bought a jeep after we retired as we never explored this area when fishing. We are 1-1/2 hours from the west side of Death Valley. We just did an overnight in stove pipe wells. Not impressed. Everything wrong. $200 for the night with pool closed, wifi it working. No pingers for phone. The $18 pizza was just the crust? Sauce and a few toppings added up to $37. That was panamint springs. Bar and food great in stove pipe wells though. Tourist trap. Nice to see but next time we Plan going further and bring our small trailer. We also have a truck but the jeep easier on unknown roads may look at getting 2nd trailer, tear drop like with NO bathroom! Ha!
@@BoundForNowhere We had that crap in Afghanistan and Africa and it gets everywhere! Keep rocking it out you two are, as always AWESOME! I know you have that big horny smile right now too, lol!
The twix ice cream bar best part and hilarious!
hahah thank you!
Beautiful shots of Death Valley and really enjoyed seeing Dana and Joe's truck! I love my morning coffee, but having it with you guys really gets my day off to a great start!!
Awwwww making us blush! Next time we will actually catch Dana and Joe in their rig

That is really hard core! We once waited until 10pm at night to drive through DV because it was so hot...yet that late it was still 110!

We are too! The Mohave had some insane terrane!
I was last in Death Valley in 1990. For about half a day on the way back to LA from Las Vegas. I've been wanting to go back ever since.
Sounds like you are due for a visit!
Good to see you guys, Happy New Year!

Death Valley is a place to write home about!
We were in Death Valley in the snow two years ago. Yep, snow. A really weird scene.
Wow I could only imagine how insane that must have been!

We totally would have if we had a teakettle to leave them behind in! We saw a kettle with the Deadman logo on it! Could it have been the one?
@@BoundForNowhere We hung up our kettle on Sunday, December 15, 2019.
makes me want to go and revisit all those gravel roads of Death Valley.
Best way to have breakfast 😍 watching you guys out and about!
Awwwwwwwww! Making me blush over here!
I just watched again.
Just wanted to say the thumbnail photo for this video of you laid in the death valley desert is so funny. Great job.
Thank you so much! We like to keep it interesting!
Love your vids. Lookin forward to the next one.

That’s my friend Dave’s company!!! It’s SO weird to see J Tree products all over. Michigan made climbing life forever ♾
Dave is such a great guy! Yes being that we're climbers, that is how I got so into Joshua Tree products

Hahah I suppose that's fair! Thank you so much though the next is soon to come!
Death Valley is on my list! Live in Colorado so a bit of a haul. Hope to also do the PCH sometime too!!
It's well worth the haul and be sure to give yourself at least 4 days

Used to be more sailing stones, but a bunch were stolen in 2013.
That is so sad. Why would anyone do that?!
You had to kill the mystery of the rocks on the internet?
