Also doing this race this year. Thinking about the right shoes. The official "trailer video" looks more like pavement or really "even" dirt roads. Here are some roads which would need or better would benefit from different shoe wear. Quite unsure what to wear to be honest :-D It will not be as "hard" as Bozen Skyrace, but this video makes me "switch" to trail shoes 🤔
You can't run...ehm...go wrong with Trail Shoes 😜(They are not mandatory, but the might be if the weather gets bad. So better have them)
The first part are dirt/gravel roads, the it switches to the narrow hicking trail on wich you walk/run in single file (backside of the Saslong/Sassolungo/Langkofel). On your way down its then a mix of roads/narrow trail.
