It’s like making spiders web with melted marshmallows! Just ordered some! Can you imagine this on coasters?! Gets the mind excited! Thanks for sharing! 😊
it really does! If you do some, please do show us what you do. My Facebook and Discord are both open to people posting their work - advertising for sale too if that's something you do. I just revel in seeing what other people do
How cool! I know absolutely nothing about nail art but from being in the resin community I can see there are SO many different materials and effects people put on their nails - and it all seems to work so well with resin. Thanks for sharing : )
Yes it does. I think because basically most nail art materials are designed to work with UV curing nail gel which must be similar to UV resin. So many possibilities. I use the nailart powders, foils, transfers etc so much with resin. I used to have spectacular hands and nails - before classic cars, crafts and cars took over so much. I was even a photography hand/ nail model for a nail art tutor's posters fr a while. you wouldn't believe it now :) I used to do my own nail art too
@@looseskullsscrafts Nah - not really. I'm getting older and I could have nais like that again all the same. but - I lvoe my cars, my Bonsais and my crafts so - unless I decide to let them grow sometime, it's not gonna work :) sometime I'll so a whole sequence of vids on the old fashioned nail art I did 20 plus years ago, applied to resin :) back then there were less materials so it was more down to brushes, dotting tools etc :) I even predate UV gels lol
Oh Tracey this is fantastic. Thank you for introducing us to it! Oh the possibilities are endless as to what can be done. Thank you so kindly for sharing your wonderful talent and videos with us all ❤ Take great care and keep creating and smiling ❤
If you use your dotting tool and hold it further away from your piece it will end more stringy.Thinner lines and you'll have more control. I'm more on the nail side rather than resin. You can add gems on the crossed over parts. Do galaxy style. Have fun ❤
Boy, I think I would end up with a bad mess with that. I don't do my nails, so I've never used it before. The top coat made it look nice. Thank you for sharing your find 😊
It is a learning curve with that stuff 😂. It was a pain trying it on nails I ended up with it everywhere lol. If you put gloves on or finger cots on your thumb and forefinger you can put between the two fingers and pull them apart to get multiple strings which is what I ended up doing on false nails and it worked a treat Tracy
good tip. I've also seen people coat the surrounding skin with latex then peel off. I guess we can do that with resin too, or masking tape. or just have fun letting it go everywhere like I did lol
If you warm up the pot and it will thin out a little and make thinner stings. You can put some on thump and a finger, then pull apart. and a dotting tool too.
Thanks! I'm gonna have to play with this more. I'm on a mission with videos about Crystals next but I will be doing some of this too. I have a few ideas. Between you and I a am hoping Daniel Cooper will do something with this - he was aware of this stuff - Daniel you know you wanna!
@@miniscenesgb I am still fascinating...I have to do some brainstorming about this....because there are so many possibilities to use this new technique....I think it's going around now like the rain drop technique...

It cures hard. It's proper UV curing. And shiy too. really odd stuff. You definitely don;t need to top coat, it cures, and adheres, hard. I top coated just to see what happened and it really did make the effect pop
Oh god I have this stuff for my nails. Gave up with it as ended up eith more on my fingers than nails. 😂😂 but it looks great on resin ginna have to dig it out. Thankyou love it. ❤❤

It's like melted sugar, I would end up covered in this 😂 would be good in black to add the crack effects in my Labradorite pieces! Great vid Tracey 🤩
Thanks Daniel - ooh yes I'd love to see you do that. Your faux stones are amazing. I love the Labradorite you've been doing
Everyone - hit up Daniel's channel to see what he's talking about - if you haven't already - you probably havel. His work is unbelievable
have you tried the crackle effect nail varnishes? as they dry they crackle
So THAT'S what Spider Gel is! I have seen it used in nail art, but had no clue what it was. 😊 Thanks for the demo! 👍💕
It's messy fun to be sure
