That annoying buzzer in located under the dash, just give it a yank and toss it out the window. That's right, you tell 'em Tech.
1:13 - I finally got to hear what the old-school seat belt buzzer sounded like on Chrysler vehicles back in the early 1970s.
They still had this buzzer on the 1979 Plymouth HORIZON. It woke my neighbor one morning
Pretty sure they used it on the trucks into the '90s. My grandpa's '95 Dakota had a buzz that sounded very similar if not identical to this.
The kid covering his ears definitely would have been me when I was a wee one! I was always just barely able to tolerate them growing up.
The sensors on the seats looks like the similar ones they use on the seats today for the air bag sensor switch.
Oh, they still had that little bald mascot who sounded like he smoked 20 years of cigarettes narrating.
1:13, 4:11, 12:17, 14:14,15:07,15:22,20:28. The buzzer has sounded:) I made this my ringtone:)
Now that's just evil. Then again, a lot of pre-programmed ringtones are just as bad if not worse.
Sometimes I worked on cars that were in awful condition, and the buzzer went nonstop. Such cars were worth so little that drivers wouldn't pay the price to fix it. Eventually those cars went extinct.
My 72 Newport has this extremely annoying buzzer
So did my 1979 Plymouth HORIZON
I think you mean your '72 Yhact.
