I recently shared in my Book Club, that I was worried audiobooks weren’t the same as reading a book you hold in hand to which our group leader straightened me out and kindly said, but Angie, I teach the deaf and audiobooks are most certainly the same as reading a book you hold! ❤
When I want to focus on one project here is my system: odd days, work on the focus item; even days- work on what I want (can also be focus item). This way I focus, but also get variety. I love your channel- when my husband walks by he says- oh, you are watching the basketball Mom. Michelle

You’re going to love Iron Flame. I read the hardcover book and ditto for Fourth Wing. I hope she writes fast because I can’t wait to see what happens next. Your cross stitch progress is amazing. I get about half the numbers you do, but that’s alright. Yes, I’d love to stitch fast, but I’m enjoying all my projects. That’s all that counts. Enjoy your summer.

As someone who *was* a monogamous stitcher (flosstube changed that!) I would love to see your progress on a single piece after two weeks of focus. But, if you chose to keep your format as is, that is awesome too. I enjoy your new book segment / recommendations. I love to listen to audible. I have a lot of similar projects to yours and now it seems like our book interests are similar as well. I just started a new cozy mystery but can’t tell if I like it or not. I am having a hard time getting into it but that could be because I am more distracted. Oh well, look forward to your next video update. Happy stitching and stay cool in this heat! I am now reading Roses. It takes place in Texas about three families in different businesses and it covers multi generations. It’s a big book but an interesting story, even though I’m only on page 93 and it’s 608 pages! ❤
That’s great you found a way to work through the confetti of the Santa piece. I’ve got a few like that I need to give some time to focus in the same way. That confetti stitching just takes some different brain power! Onyx Storm is the 3rd Empyrean series & will be published in January, I’m on the edge of my seat waiting after reading Iron Flame.
Don't feel you need to change your channel format - I've been coming back happily each time to see your presentations. If you want to change it up now and then it won't drive me away but don't feel obligated to reinvent yourself.
There most be some thing in the air because I have been thinking about doing a two week focus as well. For me it would be one full coverage, one fancy lady and one other project. Try to get 150 stitches a day on each. This way I am still getting some variety and each project can get a couple thousand stitches or even possibly finished if small.
I love your current format, but I can understand wanting to try different stitching ideas. My suggestion would be to try and split the two weeks on one project between 2 videos. So the viewers would get a week of other projects and a week of the focus project in each video. Just a suggestion. I'll watch whatever you post. I ordered the witch book a few days ago, so I'm looking forward to reading it. Happy Stitching.
Too bad I am a full coverage monogamous Stitcher, but after this big project, I’m thinking of starting some smaller ones for Christmas because I know my children would cherish and put up every Christmas things that I stitched with the Christmas theme and I am not so sure about other things? 🤷🏼♀️
