I’ve owned my boat for about 23 years, the first time I pulled my drive off and went to install it I had a heck of a time, as time went on I learned about engine alignment, once I aligned the engine the process was so much easier, thanks Michael 👍😁
Good morning Dave ☕️ Thanks for watching, and alignment is important as you mentioned. The very next video will show the install process of the outdrive. 😁 Over thanksgiving dinner, my older brother and I were looking at late 80’s/early 90’s Mastercraft for sale online. He got me pretty interested in a classic Mastercraft Prostar 190. Who knows…you might see videos on that in coming years…😁👍 As we upload these boat videos, we are busy in the background at hq filming more jet ski videos. ☕️👍
Thanks for watching, tool should be able to slide through the center race of gimbal bearing a bit more easier than we experienced. Grease is always your best friend as you see when performing the alignment procedure prior to installing outdrive. 😎👍
I have a question for you I’m a first time boat owner and I have rotted wires going into out drive would you please tell what they are I could send photos thank you for taking the time to read my question
@@jackfulton3041 Thanks for watching, any update? It’s likely that these wires are the wires for your Trim Limit and Trim Sender kit. The wires will feed through the transom and hull and make its way to their hydraulic trim motor solenoids. Keep us posted. 🧰
Thanks for watching, you can get an online service manual. However you can also visit: www.marineengine.com You can scroll down and select Mercruiser, then enter your serial number. This will bring up all your diagrams. Hope this helps. 😎👍🧰

I think you found your calling... amazing videos.
Thanks for the information. For all that you provide is appreciated. Question on the multi tool. Why is it out of spec?
I was also wondering about the alignment tool, how did you determine that
Thanks
