This is their first viral video. They didn’t have any money so the recorded in a parking ramp for the acoustics. They are 19 and 20 - so young.

Starting and ending with the melody of "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" makes one think of the innocence of a child.
Then they power into their song, and do an excellent performance!
I'd like to point out the original also has the same melody (which does resemble Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star) in the intro.
The admiration you have for Pentatonix shows in every review. Of course, there is a lot to like.
Barry please react to Avi's solo music. You will find it wonderfully healing. He writes very personal yet relatable to everyone. Change on the Rise is the first song he released under his own name after leaving PTX. Prior to leaving PTX he released music under Avriel and the Sequoias.
Pentatonix just never disappoints me, and neither does your look of awe as you review them.

Fantastic! I was hoping you'd get to this one, it's really wonderful. I love Matt but I do miss Avi, his tone is flawless. In one of their early songs (I can't recall the name off-hand, maybe another PTX fan can help me here) Avi does a technique called Tuvan Throat Singing, basically he can create two tones simultaneously. He's a super-talent... well, they all are. Love your videos, so glad to have jumped on the Barry Bus!
He’s done it in a number of their songs, they used it a couple of times during the Sing-off and later but I think the most well known one is “Aha”. I hope Barry reacts to that too, video, Star gusts performance and the live stream with the five of them on a couch!

She is out of this world. She has quite the story. She is only 15 and very pretty. and has a beautiful voice. On top of everything, she has a stomach disease that is uncourable. The song she sings is "Voila".. Have tissues ready !

There are lots of newer songs we haven’t heard you react to, not only by PTX but Home Free and VoicePlay. I can’t remember if you reacted to VoicePlay’s version of “Creep” but it is amazing. This is one of the songs where I had kind of missed how interesting Kevin's part is, because most of my attention was on Kirstin and Mitch. Thank you for pointing him out. It's a really good arrangement and powerful performance from all of them. Also probably something the production of Sing-Off wouldn't have appreciated, because they wanted Mitch to be more masculine and pretty much only use half of what he's capable of. Also, an Avi solo.

I am a bit late to the party, apologies! I was traveling, then got the call from the doc that my iron count is LOW, I will spare you the details. I had to come home a day early for another test and then at some point they will schedule an infusion. 😬 Hopefully sooner than later because I am convinced my brain cells are not getting enough red blood cells at the moment? 😬 I am so tired, I always forget it is like this, some sort of denial thing I guess? 🤷🏼♀️
The PTX concert is this Wednesday. Your woman Annie the clown 🤡 is driving me nuts trying to make plans about everything….which I always love a good plan but she throws 50 million things out at once and some do not even matter? 😬
And, isn’t this fun news, I forgot that the concert is at an open amphitheater and Wednesday it is forecasted to be 101 degrees which means in Dallas it will be even more hot that that? 😬 But, you say, it will be at 8 pm so it won’t be bad. WRONG (sorry shouty) it is gonna be bad, it will heat up throughout the day and not cool off anywhere close to fast or enough. 🙄 Someone tell me why I didn’t get Christmas concert tickets instead? 😬
I have been to a concert there, Tom Petty, with my boyfriend at the time who got so drunk I spent half of the concert trying to keep up with him outside of the theater? He was trying to take off his clothes and other strange shenanigans? 🙄 In typical Terri fashion I finally took him to the car and said, sleep it off or wander off, I care not which one you choose, I am going back, don’t follow me I don’t know you. Cringe 😬 Uhhhh, we didn’t make it, that was our last date? Surprise, not a surprise! 😬 However I had a nice convo with one of the gate guys and we dated for a time? Basically all he had to say was, why are you with that loser? One door closes and another opens except my doors have been closed for too long (uhhhhh, say what? 😬) Find me a dude B ☘️! 🚨

Sorry to hear you’ve been experiencing the dreaded low iron levels. As I’ve said before I’ve had that in the past and I could just lay down in the middle of a busy street I feel that drained. Am I excited? No. Right now that is the honest answer. I took Annie to the doc, she gets a call about my former sister in law who had a wreck with her grandma in the car. We went to the so called hospital, they had grandma out in the waiting room that was packed and my former (I mean nobody is really ever former, well one, I kinda sorta try to forget about her all of the time) sister in law in the hall in the ER. No rooms. Annie and I had not eaten because of her doc appointment. So somehow I go to get gas, Annie left it at 1/8 of a tank and that is, as you know, a huge no no. While gone they my release the former sister in law but grandma is still in the waiting room. She is 99 years old! Anywho, my niece had left to go back home when it happened but turned around halfway home and came back. One nephew who is off work for 2 days, is on his way. So I go back to the hospital, trade cars with my niece, who can’t get grandma into her 4 runner, and I had to help Annie and former sister in law get into the thing, and we took her home. We just got home.
And I hit the wall a long time ago. Like you said, and as we have discussed, I am laying down and won’t be getting up anytime soon. It is 102 degrees right now, I am slick with sweat in spite of being in an AC car, and I have no idea why must be a weird side affect and my body trying to pump nonexistent red blood cells to me brain? And other not so crucial places I am sure. 😬 🙄

I finally lost it yesterday after days of listening to her complain and told her I would go alone and sell her ticket? Sooooo, we get up this morning and I am dragging. I woke up about 5 times last night drenched in sweat. I don’t say a word to your woman Annie 🤡 though because wellll, you know. She looks at me and says, your face has zero color and I can tell you are tired. I tried to say, I am fine but she cut me off and said, put the tickets up for resale, even if they don’t sell we are not going, I am not going to get stuck with you in Dallas, you run out of steam and I will have to drive us out of there which is not a good idea. Or you end up passing out and you are in the hospital there and I am stuck there. Or or or. I said, I would have to be totally knocked out before it is EVER a good idea for you to drive in Dallas over me, no matter how you feel about my Dallas driving which quite frankly is better than you have given me credit for oh for like weeks now. Why else am I always the chosen one to drive there and make things happen for people? We are going. So it was back and forth and I finally just gave up. I don’t have the energy to fight her on this. 🤷🏼♀️
And then….
Not us had a 🚗 bam, to the 🏥 we go, my niece turns around and we are there all day helping her. I erased a whole lot here but it is okay. Enough to say it wasn’t me or Annie but we helped at 🏥.
