I knew if I would wait and watch long enough you would get into some form of sound design. Now keep that train moving Sir ;-)

I don't see how you could get into synths and not get into sound design

@@neonblack211 Everyone has their won way of creating and enjoying, but for me sound design is a big part of the music making process. I often enjoy it more than the actual song making.

I can remember that you did a video before on this exact topic, and then I wrote in and said, you can do this on the Deluge too. Now I will write in with a different idea: you can also instead of using “key” as mod source, assign as many parameters as possible to “velocity” and then sequence your micro freak externally from the deluge with a (say 4 bar long loop) in which you set the velocities of the notes to inverse match a kick drum pattern that you also play on the deluge. That way you get a side chaining effect: kick drum on is low modulations on micro freak, kick drum off is high modulations on micro freak.

That’s a dope idea - side chaining velocity for mod source stuff. I gotta try that

Great fun , only bought my Microfreak a few months ago when they bought out the Stella edition , been into synths for over 40 years , but the Microfreak is very addictive, at the moment got set up with a op-1 and having lots of fun …love doing my own patches part of the fun of synths ….

You can really tell how he loves music just from the PCB keybed.
Some parts of the stuff printed on the PCB keybed were already fade away due to continuous performing and touching. Which is kinda like the indicator of the degree that he loves music.
I really admire your passion for music, and I always feel incredibly happy while watching your mind-blowing videos!
    Edit:Forgive my poor English🥺

Did you just hold shift and paraphonic to enter unison mode? 🤯

Is that also doable with the Deluge ?

Yeah. In the mod sources section there’s a Note modulation source that should do something like this.
