An absolutely horrible war and I dont know how it will end but it seems likely that if the war continues another 24 months by then the Russian army will have used up all of its tanks and other equipment carefully accumulated over 80 years. Possibly even in 18 months if it turns out that a lot of the remaining Russian tanks were left in storage because they are in much worse shape than the old tanks that the Russians thought were worth refurbishing. I also wonder how many of the remaining old Russian tanks have been cannibalized for parts. I know its horrific to think of this war going another two years but imagine NATO deciding to get involved in the war two years from now with the intention of destroying Russian forces in Ukraine and how that would go if the Russian army effectively had no tanks or other mobile vehicles left.
