To all of u that keep saying sorry for my bad English - please know you speak it better than most English speaking ppl. So great job you guys. Your English is Excellent! 😀
very nice !!! But why did you glue the paws and leggs ?? Is it okay to bake in the oven afterwards?? Doesn't that effect the glue?? and what kind of glue did you use??
Thank you! It was actually TLS (translucent liquid sculpey) that I was using. It's basically like a liquid clay that helps adhere the two clay pieces together during baking. :)
***** Can you compare that TLS to fimo liquid ? Because i can order that in the Netherlands. I hope you know if that's sort a like. Thanks for aswering me. Keep up the nice work !!
Joanneke Drie I haven't tried Fimo liquid yet, but I've heard that it has a thinner consistency than TLS, but works pretty similar to TLS. There is a few listings on eBay that ship TLS worldwide if you're interested, but Fimo is definitely a good substitute as well. I'm considering trying it, because I like how it's more translucent than TLS. :)
skya the fluffypup like w any skill - n yes art is more a skill than a talent n as an artist myself - I have strong points in some mediums than others. As with any skill - PRACTICE makes PERFECT. Keep trying. Each artist has their own style. There is NO wrong or RIGHT way to do art. Just do what makes YOU happy n don't worry about anyone else.
Hi i'd like to ask where you got the dangling thing and the chains? Please answer back thanks. :) they look so cute. I'd love to make them and give it to a friend.
maria 0000 Thank you! :) I purchased the jump rings, eye pins, and cellphone strap all from eBay. You can also purchase them from Michael's or your local dollar store.
+Zaynab R. Oops! I think I replied to the wrong comment. You were asking what clay I use not glaze lol! The clay brands that I use are Premo, Fimo, and Sculpey III from Michael's. For this video I'm using Premo.
I've never actually tried using glue with polymer clay, only after it's been baked and only really for the eye-pin. That white liquid I used is actually translucent liquid Sculpey. It's like liquid clay, and only hardens once baked. It helps to strengthen the bond between two pieces of clay, as well as strengthen and keep the eye-pin in the charm.
you actually have really good english grammer! I'm pretty sure it would work with the material. just make sure the charm is compleatly hardened before. happy crafting! :3
Neko Chan any hardware store or Walmart. Just go to the paint section - look for the stains and you will have sealers in that area. They will have different sheens also from matte, satin, and gloss for the sealers. I get a quart n it lasts me thru many pieces of furniture. Also if u use hardware store clear coats or even some crafts clear coats please makes sure you do it in a well ventilated areas. Some of you may be fume sensitive.
I HAVE THE STUPIDEST QUESTION: how do u open tls ik how to take out the black part so its only the bottle of tls only no cap but how do u open it so its like urs? ps adorable raccoon
Thank you! :) And no, it's not a stupid question at all. Did you make sure to take off the black pointy tip that's covering the nozzle? Also, did you twist off the black cap, and make sure there is no paper covering the opening as well?
