In the red chair is Roma Downey, who has spent much of her career exploring the shared space between spirituality and acting. It started on 'Touched by an Angel', a wildly successful TV show that ran for nine seasons in the US. For the role, Roma drew on her own faith. Now, she's part of a new mini-series, 'The Bible', which aims to adapt one of the most influential books of all time. Not only does Roma play Mother Mary, she's also co-producing the series with her husband, Mark Burnett.

Roma's eyes are stunning! They are almost scary. It is rare to see eyes so full of sincerity and truth and love and nothing hidden. She is who she is; a beautiful human being inside and out!
You don't have to be Religious or even believe in God to love Roma, her message is always that "God loves you no matter what, even if you don't believe". Not, "you're going to hell because you wrong and don't believe". She's a wonderful person, very Religious....but very humble within her beliefs.
Amen Roma, you were raised to know God's love. He has an individual plan for all of us.

Maybe because I find it still to be intertaining and enjoyable to watch like I find Santa Clause movies or movies that involve other gods to be enjoyable. Still, truth of the reality is that Christian god doesn't exist like all other mythical gods believed to be real as yours don't exist.

***** Why bother comment on something that was written 3 months ago. And you don't even know me, so you have no idea if I'm miserable or not. The origins of the bible certainly did not come from any supernatural daddies like most are taught to believe. Every religion or belief system to do with gods and deities that exist or existed are all claiming to be true. And a warm fuzzy show like "Touched By An Angel" on the Tv doesn't mean angels and demons and Hell or Heaven are real. I was Christian and still know how the Christian mind thinks. But there's no point of me getting into a big debate here that could last for days or longer, so you believe what you want buddy. But hey, this was still a good show.

dominic garcia Ah no problem, As I read through the bible myself I learned the true nature of this god, all it is, is rules, regulations, dogma and the threat of eternal punishment if you don't believe and accept him. I began to think a god like this is not real but just superstition to control the average population by elite rulers like all previous gods and religions did before the Abrahmic religions came around. I researched the origins of the bible and it is stemmed from The Hindu, Chinese, Sumerian, Babylonian, Pagan, Greek, Norse, and Roman beliefs. Hell is a Christian concept taken from many previous myths of eternal punishment which was not written in the original New Testament but came much later like a few hundred years in order to push fear into non-Christians to convert them since Christianity was being made the dominant religion at that point. The bulk of the population are unaware of this and are never meant to know. Television is a massive tool of propaganda controlled by the same elite that control our governments, money supply, media, and music industry. This is why shows like "Touched By an Angel" is put out to the public because the common person will believe anything on Tv of course. On the other hand, I like to get drunk, get high, look at women with lust, and watch violence and profanity on Tv. And I don't take orders from some guy that died on a cross 2000 years ago, whom mostly didn't exist. But I do have my limits and don't do that stuff all the time, only just for a good past time. Living life as a sane, aka atheist, is pretty good, and not letting imaginary sky daddies tell me how to live.
