Leushing have his big moment knocking Tito down but Trinidad always good coming back from that and winning. Terry Norris win on this card as well, Trinidad y Norris were scheduled to fight Aug 1997 in Madison Square Garden but Norris he leave Don King for Bob Arum to get more money fighting Oscar De La Hoya, but he lose to Keith Mullings before he get that chance.
I was fortunate enough to see this fight live in Nashville. The entire fight card was exciting. Those who watched the fight on TV that evening missed probably the most exciting knockout of that card, when Terrance Churchwell KO'd Charles Sims.
Churchwell was local in the Nashville area. He only had one pro fight that was nationally televised and it was on Friday Night Fights back in 2000, I believe. Not sure why his career ended at such an early age, but his record was 19-1 (13KOs).
Lets see questional chin.He gets a clean sho Tbut still gets up and knocks you out.The chin is not questional. He has a strong chin. he can take a hit. Note one of the commentors his opponents been carefully chosen lol He fought ex-world champions and top rank fighters and other undefeated fighters, UYes carefully chosen. The commentato r at least said he did fight very tough fighters unlike the implication of one bias commentator iplying his opponents were bums of the night. This thrope by commentators ho do not fight is hilaroius. George Foreman made an observatio that Trinidad can take a punch and is tough. This is from a fighter not one of these idiots.
He never had loaded gloves Hopkins trainer explained in a video that what happened was the way they wrap the hand wasn't permitted in NY boxing commission in other places was permitted loaded gloves are not permitted anyway so if he says that the way they wrap Tito hand was permitted anyway but not only in NY boxing commission that tell you that he wasn't using loaded gloves
Its his balance not his jaw. Tito biggest weakness was his legs lol , tito been hit by some heavy hitters and didn't drop. Its a mixture of jitters and bad balance
Tito didn't have a weak chin Tito problem was he always started in shaky legs that the reason he used to stand normal every fight he got dropped then went his body warm he used to get hit hard and didn't feel nothing that the reason he never was send to the canvas multiple times

No one was going to beat felix at this time he was a scary fighter allways thought he was underrated tbh.
Titi Trinidad the best of Puerto 🇵🇷 🇵🇷 Rico
I really liked Bobby Czyz as a commentator. Way better than George Foreman.
You are right about that
Totally agree with you. Foreman was wrong almost all of the time. Emanuel Stewart, Sugar Ray Leonard, Roy Jones Jr. were all good.
Trinidad in his prime... Devastating. Best ever Welter IMO.
TheRmm1976 De La Hoya schooled Trinidad
Schooled? Too bad De la Hoya couldn't close the show.
I honestly believe Trinidad in his prime would have beaten SRL
No, De la Hoya beat him
lifes good Trinidad couldn’t handle De La Hoya’s speed and boxing ability, he lost we all know it. SRL schools him
Damn ridiculous crowd booing the first round when boxers are feeling each other out, sad...
Best welter ever...Tito
Tito knocked down and then coming like an out loose train to the terminal.

Tito habría matado a Norris. Tenía el estilo perfecto para Tito.
Lo mejor de puerto rico
12:38... don't rise up in the face of the lion, for he will pounce and devour you! The beginning of the end, and what a close, 14:12!!!

12:29-33 Don Félix: "Las manos abajo y arriba."
12:38 Tito: Bum! Bum! Recógelo 😂
I miss Tito. His power was so deceptive because he didn’t look like a killer, but boy...he was a real killer in the ring.
In fact, the Puerto Rican destroys the welterweight categories and has the longest reign in the weight class. Welter a beast in your hands
Still my favorite fighter
Trinidad 15 defenses by 12 KO RECORD only in 147lb TITO TRINIDAD
16
PUERTO RICO!!!
That last punch...ouch !
Wow nice fight
Tito 💯🇵🇷 the best all time 147 pound👍
Buen yeso que usaba Tito, apenas los tocaba se íban a la lona, igual que Risto y Margarito.
Apenas? Lo toco varias veces en los 3 rounds, envidioso!

Harry Simon could beat this trindad
He would have stopped Mayweather in 7

I can't help but think how many fights Trinidad had loaded wraps....eric morel said Felix never had power in the amateurs but who am i🤷♂️
He never had loaded gloves Hopkins trainer explained in a video that what happened was the way they wrap the hand wasn't permitted in NY boxing commission in other places was permitted loaded gloves are not permitted anyway so if he says that the way they wrap Tito hand was permitted anyway but not only in NY boxing commission that tell you that he wasn't using loaded gloves
Tito shows devastating punching power...as well as a weak jaw🙄
Paul B 🙄🙄🥊
Its his balance not his jaw. Tito biggest weakness was his legs lol , tito been hit by some heavy hitters and didn't drop. Its a mixture of jitters and bad balance

Wow, that Dominican can hit.
He's not Dominican. Felix "Tito" Trinidad is Puerto Rican.
