Every time someone says that part is easy it makes me feel bad. I've been playing for a good while but I have a hard time playing it tight without losing the beat. I guess everyone finds different things difficult
@@marcinmcula99 well, everyone has their own pace. I can't pick Thunderstruck because I'm shit at hand synchronization, but tapping and legato are no problem to me for example. You may excel at something I don't
@@marcinmcula99 I also found it quite tough at first. My hands would hurt when I finally could play it a bit consistently. It's a matter of practice and knowing how to relax your wrists and arms I guess. You'll get it eventually
I remember Another Brick Part 2 was one of the first solos I learned to play when I was first starting out as a guitarist and it's still one of my personal favourites to play, Gilmour's solo in that song is just so perfect and you can definitely rip it out as well if you want to
I just learned the solo from Mother. I think everyone should start by learning Gilmour's solos, songs are usually slow so it gives you more time to listen and react when you're playing. You can make sure you're bending to the correct pitch. I made a mistake by tackling Iron Maiden solos first, this exposed a lot of mistakes that I wasn't even aware of.
You are an amazing guitarist...that Dream Theater solo was flawless. My brain sees and understands every note you are playing...just need to get my hands to work together so I can execute it.
One of the thumbs down is definitely from john petrucci himself who thinks "holy sh**, why is Danilo so damn good" 😂 Absolutely first class Danilo, rock on! 👍👍👍
Me after No.1- ok, No.2 should be ok for me. Me after watching it- I'll just stick with No.1 for now. (that LP sounded nice and crisp, worked amazing well with final countdown!)

Sei un grande! Adoro il solo di the final countdown e vorrei impararlo tantissimo, ma quello di The Best of Time mi fa andare via di testa tutte le volte che lo ascolto, ma son più che lontano da potermi permettere una cosa del genere! Comunque, ribadisco, bravissimo e bel video!👍🏻
The Wake Me Up When September Ends solo is the only one I know from here. Very nice and simple. I used to play the lead parts with my gf on drums, and another friend on guitar. When studios were open. Nice you included this one gg.
Great video Danilo! Last weeks I have tried to learn the Final countdown solo. I really having issues with keep time at that speed... way harder then it looks.
When I got to the fifth solo my jaw dropped totally to the ground and when I recovered 5 mins later, I had to watch again..... and yep, it happened again!!!! (2013 Slash LP for sale!!).
Hey awesome! Can i ask in everyones name to please do more videos about solos. And please drop one from floyd rose tremolo. Thank for your work have a great night
Just a little input, Mr Vicari. David Gilmore used a Les Paul( a 1959 i think) when he recorded the solo for "Another break in the wall", and not his red Strat. Thats why it sound so fat and rich. ;-)

The last solo went from “ok that’s not that hard to play” to “what the fuck is he doing with his hands” pretty quickly
Hahahaha
And still has so much melody and emotion
That’s John Petrucci’s playing for ya
you give love a bad name was the first solo i actually tried to learn by ear, that brought back some memories
Over and over
This EVH sounds awesome!!
Your covers are amazing

Eruption is a great solo and very instructive. Its tapping part isn't that hard and it is really helpful (for those who want to learn how to tap)

Perfect. This made me want to pick up my guitar and also never pick up my guitar again
The last solo.... I was right back in my old days so emotional
Stairway was of course one of the first solos I learned, always a fun one
every david gilmour solo is one of the hardest to play, no one can get gilmour's feel. He made his guitar sing.

Fantasticccccccc!!!
I'm not usually one to comment but, the Best of Times, such a DT Masterpiece!! Ahhh, ooooof!!!
The easiest solo I know is Wasting Love - Iron Maiden, and it is also good for bending
