As a Michignder and a Detroit Fan i just can't let myself get there until I get there . I see so many disrespect rhe city because of old news . People who say bad things about the city haven't been to the city . I guess I have to put that same belief on the Lions .
I'm out in the suburbs of Detroit. So many people are just obsessed with hating everything. They don't want to see us succeed, but they'll gladly take credit for our successes while they keep punching down. These lions feel like Detroit's answer to the hate machine. You wanna keep whining? You wanna moan about our governor as she brings us back from the brink? To complain about our mayor as he transforms our city back to a safe, beautiful place to live? You wanna laugh at our 2008 loss? Screw those people. We're gonna win. And we'll shut them all up. This ain't about the hate machine. It's about a team and a city that has screwed up, but that's turning up the heat to make it right. I'm sure they'll start cheering for us when we win. I'm sure they'll take all the credit they can. But Detroit built Detroit, and Detroit built these lions. They ought to remember that.

It was pure torture and disappointment being a Lions fan for the past 50-some years. I will hold my comments on how good we are until we get to the Super Bowl. Until then mums the word (I remember last year in the NFC Championship) and I will just sit back and cheer and smile after every victory.
Yes the NFL does. They've already tried reduced unfair approaches to keep the Lions down. So there are only 2 ways for the NFL to win against my Lions: A - by severely amping up unfairness against the Lions by encouraging prison balling (ie/ Clark's Fever phobics) B - taking a few seasons to PROPERLY restructure NFL teams and how they're organized and functioning...LOL
As a Detroiter, the only answer to stop them would be to minimize their run game(you won’t be able to stop it fully) and force Goff to throw the ball deep. Goff can’t hit our receivers deep while in stride consistently. He will either under or over throw it. Next best bet is to flush him out of the pocket as he is not mobile

The Vikings are going to be the answer to the Lions or at least so i really hope anyways. The Lions JUST BARELY stole the win from us by a measly 2 points in the final seconds of our first meeting. I would say that compared to a lot of the Lions other opponents, the Vikings definitely "tamed" those dirty felines pretty well in comparison. So long as the Vikings don't shoot themselves in the foot anymore or become their own worst enemy like they so often do..., I do believe that they can and will be the dog needed to chase those cats up a tree. But the damn Vikings are pros at crushing all of my hopes and dreams. They have been doing it for over 35 years now... 🤦♂️ But anyways we shall see what happens. 🤣 It should be very interesting and exciting to watch though, that much is for sure. SKOL!!!! 💪😈

That’s what Houston tried to do and it worked until the end. You also have to score points against an elite defense
