"Kaioken" is a technique from Dragonball Z. The King of Space teaches it to Goku in the afterlife, basically, and the technique is named for him, "Kaio-sama."
PS I agree that switching between weapons should be a unique SM mechanic and that guardsmen should not be able to do it once committed to a weapon like the flamer.
@@GreyKnight7777 Kairo, Fist-Weaver
The guard should be able to purchase both, but they only get 2 guns each
@@ReynaldRam Maybe that would be the solution? Give them back the third gun with sarge and commie upgrades? Maybe with both to reward players who invest fully?
That would be awkward since you would get no value out of the 2 flamers when at the max range of the plasma guns
The Kaioken is a DBZ move wherein Goku uses 2x or sometimes more of his energy at once for a powerup. It's a classic move haha
Ayyy I guess my random haidoukin impression wasn't too far off then!
The flamers ig is just such absolute bullshit wow. It feels so broken
bullshit is losing as chaos to gm flamers lmao
I agree. IG we're not designed with this capability and it is pretty busted.
Great Sloppy Saturday Scrap Boyz!!!
Thanks for the sweet cast STD as always...
Comments for the Comment Throne!!!
Always painful to see newer players forget just because a dreadnought has a ranged weapon; that the giant melee weapon on the other hand is still *a giant melee weapon on the other hand* and use it accordingly. Reminds me of when Konrad Curze had Vulcan capture in a maze after Istavan and disabled the teleporter in Vulks hammer thinking he was screwed and would die trapped. Vulcan subsequently reminded him that said teleporting hammer was still... *a hammer* 🤣
That LC went ballistic!
This is your reminder that the Apothecary grenades need their own unique color.
Wait Guardsmen can do the tactical marine upgrade change that actually is bananas
Yeah, think it's just flamer to plasma.
I don't know man. IG is strong if you're a good player. I usually lose my sent and don't even bother getting a chimera tbh.
Really hard to git gud tho with the current playerbase.
thanks for the IG cast!
How about including a small power cost for sergeants and making them a requirement for getting Flamers? Why shouldn't the Guardsmen's basic leader cost power, everyone else's does. A lot of players seem to playing without sergeants for long periods anyway, so you can't argue that they are 100% essential so have to be without a power cost. It would also delay when flamers can come out and make sure that the flamer squad sneaking in and killing the gen farm is of equivalent cost to a noise marine, or flamer tac, etc.
Just some thoughts on what could be done. Maybe there are better options.
Like the idea, or do the opposite and make Sergenat a requirement to switch weapon. So you can still have Flamer quick bash in the early game but will have to spend more and more power to change them to plasma.
@@SOLID_MATTIC That would not work because sarges are already not really performing as well as they ought to.
People are intentionally delaying getting them as long as possible because of the extra upkeep burden on them; avoiding using GM in combat until that point.
I would prefer that so that IG weren't relying on spamming HWTs/cata/and the odd spotter.
Without sarges you simply cannot use your GM effectively for real combat and that's sad. It's part of where IG have gone wrong now. They can win games and fights without using their GM for real combat. And then you add the ability to just pick up flamers and threaten a side bash... It gets silly.
Previously you could still get flamers but it was a huge commitment since you were stuck with short range weapons. So you never seen it. I think people undervalued flamers even then.
I mean, think how broken Chaos is in T2 and even T1. They basically have units to counter everything in this game, Chain + Dark Flame and you just can't do anything but suffer. Blood Letters are so insanely hard to counter. And Khorne worship make you just able to run anything over and wipe the army in one go.
The aggressive army wih strong field supriority in Tier 1 like Nid, Chaos or Ork are deserved to be vulnerable to quick bash exactly so that they can't just apply unlimited aggression at no cost imo. And they don't even get weaken in Tier 3, so unlike Eldar, they aren't punished for losing too much in the earl game either.
I like the Flamer change. Just like the Sentinel, it's meta breaking and it prevents people from doing the same tactic over and over with minimum risk. If anything we should see more of them for other factions.
Chaos doesn't even meant to have Terminator or Raptor in the retail mind you. Yet here we are, they have jump troops they have Terminator that are just straight up better than the Loyalist with full regen and melee resistance. And they even have Predators with all of the broken Predator mechanics in Tier 3.
It's used to be that Chaos get very strong T1 and T2 to compensate for their relatively weaker T3.
Guardsman flamer doing nice work again
"Good one" he said :D
No Aeldari ass this time... But the Commissar makes surely up for it!
Honestly Chaos seems so nutered just in general.
Did you like, miss the whole last video where I played PC vs Ine's LG and TM and had a bunch of success?
@@SenpaiTorpidDOW To be fair, one of the top players having success with a faction doesn't mean the faction doesn't need buffs
@@ianwelk2878 I'm not a top player; that video was the 1st I'd played in 6months or so.
And I was playing vs the incumbent balance lead...
People just gotta git gud. Nobody seems willing to use their heads anymore, like that very simple heuristic of sending your 2 tics together early on in 1v1 I was going on about.
@@SenpaiTorpidDOWyeah bro you got me.
