- Here starts our adventure to the Darien lodge on the North West coast of Colombia. My first hosted trip with some old and new friends ready for an experience of a lifetime. We flew into Medellin the night before then hopped on a domestic flight the following morning to get to Bahia Solano, where we loading up the boats and fished our way to the Lodge on the beach in Punta Ardita. We are 220 miles from the nearest road, in a fishermans paradise! We caught a bunch of fun sized yellow fin tuna, some mystery fish on the @JohnnyJigsTV and saw a free jumping sailfish. It was an epic first day here in colombia!

So much fun watching you catch Yellowtail. They are so great when on the bite. I'd love to see you go up North and do some Salmon fishing someday. Salmon/Halibut/Cod fishing is a wonderful fishery that I feel like you don't cover and are missing out on.

Did you know that, " Yellow " & " Esspecially Bluefin Tuna " carry " significant " amounts of " Mercury " !
Had been there, I would have Tried to " Dissuade " them from fishing there ! / & I " certainly wouldn't " have Eaten any of them !

Actually the first thing I wanted to ask you was, did you take Finley along with you on your trip to Colombia? Saw him in the beginning I'm probably only about 5 minutes in now though. That was a good day of fishing . Don't you love it when your with good friends and the fish are hitting one after the other ?!! The only thing I wish was that you could have shown more of the Great Dane . I had two of them and I miss them dearly ( Max and Jesse ) .... Jesse was a Harlequin , looked like a giant Dalmation and Max was all black with small white diamond on his chest ( really miss them ) . I hope it was a great trip . PK
