I have installed many fans over the years with no issue. I have previously installed 3 Clarkston model fans at the same time about 5 years ago. I got one of these Clarkston II models from Home Depot to replace an old ceiling with a dead motor in my bedroom. The mounting plate holes at 0:18 do not line up with the junction box holes. You feed it through and slide it over but only one side will mount. There's no more room for the plate to shift over. Any idea what I'm supposed to do? Can't believe I'm having an issue like this considering how many I have done trouble free inb the past.
@painkiller1968: so sorry you are having trouble. This video is just a demo and not the official 3D instructions which are in the BILT app. If they're not lining up with your junction boxes, you will need to call the manufacturer Home Decorators or The Home Depot. Could it be the junction boxes?

I recently bought one the fan has power but the lights will not come on
Sorry to hear that! Did you check the wiring? Return it? We had success on the first try.
We were able to install the fan easily but the problem we have is the housing. The screws in the thing (part HH) aligns but wont twist to lock. We just gave up thinking its defective cause this should have been the easiest part of the install. ☹️

We hope you'll try the BILT app. This video was to introduce 3D interactive instructions and hopefully, persuade you to give BILT a try. BILT is to to video what Google Earth is to a map. It's the future of instructions.

We like it. That's my son and his room at my house. It's been great so far.
