can someone explain what bard does? cause I don't get how he works, sometimes he gets +30 stacks instantly and sometimes he gets none

You spend mana on his stacks but the mana will stop spending when it reaches the same amount needed for a summon, probably why youll see moments where he gets (0) stacks. People who get stacks quickly simply save up mana and then send him into music mode until it runs as low as a summon.
