Honestly, I feel like there's two reasons. They've gone in a new direction that's much different, but it's still fucking amazing, and I feel like they realize that it wouldn't fit. I'm not sure who the guy who came in after he recorded the guitar, but I don't think it's Darren White, so I imagine they thought it would be appropriate for Darren to sing it - And he has, there's other video's of him singing it with the band.
