I just love your videos and your excitement as you show us the inside of houses, but best of all is your invaluable information re planning/ or not and information on different areas and zoning etc. You are a gem and I love your fireplace in kitchen💜
they're such a bonus! i had the old brown light switches in my farmhouse when i bought it, so essentially no electricity but the wires were still hooked from the pole to the gable end, so i knew a huge amount of the expense would be taken off me
@@CheapIrishHouses When you mention round brown toggle switches... I became separated from the group - was immediately lost, dazed & confused. I was cold & hungry. Haha, seriously, I have no idea what you're talkin about. Would you mind enlightening me? OH MY GOD, enLIGHTening me, haaaaa..see what I did there? 😆 Annnnnd, how does a) radiator & b) oil fired heating work? I'm embarassed I've made it to 39 & never heard of oil fired heating. NOWWWWWWW I get why you get so excited about toilets. Haha... I have an overactive bladder but also have potty trained kids so a toilet already there is awesome. Totally get that just for different reasons You rock Ms. Maggie - my 6 YEAR OLD even lovvvvves watching you!
The contents tip made me smile! We went to view the most divine farm house a few months back and the calendar on the wall gave us a good idea of when it’d been lived in. The local shop was also a great spot to get info 😉 we didn’t get the house in the end, turned into a bit of a bidding war but we enjoyed viewing it and getting a chance to ask questions.
even when you don't get them its great practice and great fun! and i totally agree about the shop thing, my local was a wealth of info when i came here first. once mary told me i was living in "the old scanlan place" i was able to explain to locals where i lived from then on lol!
Thank you Maggie. you give hope to people despite the craziness at the moment
You are so clever!!! Things I would never think of...
thanks so much conor! you'll be dangerous the next time youre viewing a place. peeping in cupboards, examining cornflake boxes lol!
