My Cats favorite video........he expects to watch it first thing in the morning and before I go to sleep. He jumps on the tv stand as his way of alerting me that he is 'ready' for his movie, lol. Love it
I don’t have a cat but I do have a bird, she loves watching this video,it just make her so calm and focus She would sit in my lap and watch the others birds
We don't get many comments about the Cardinals, but they are really pretty birds! Their chirp is so distinct we usually know when they are around. Thank you for the comment! ❤
My cat has watched this video thousands of times, it was her favorite. This morning was her final view. She was old and tired, the vet put her to sleep. It's heartbreaking to lose an old friend but I wanted to let you know your video brought her so much joy. RIP Foots (March 2024)
So very sorry to hear about your loss. You are right, it is heartbreaking. They bring us so much joy in our own lives. Thank you for telling us about Foots. We are glad we could bring some added happiness to her life. Thank you for loving her. ❤
Honestly I am also very entertained by the critters. But OMG, at 20 minutes 46 seconds a blue jay literally swallows one peanut to make room for a second peanut and then flies away with them. I have never seen an average bird do this. Seagulls maybe, but not just the average bird. I've never even seen a squirrel actually be able to swallow one to make room for a second one. It was simply amazing.
Good eye spotting that! Blue Jays have a pouch in their throat that lets them store food temporarily until they take it some other place to eat or hide for later. They are very interesting birds! You'll see in some of the videos how picky they can be about the nuts they select, sometimes bringing a peanut back to pick a new one instead! Thanks for watching and for the comment!! ❤
@@BlueWindCreations LOL. I've seen some of the birds out here also be super picky I've never in my life seen any type of blue jay be able to do that. That's freaking amazing. We have completely black-headed blue jays and then there is this other version that looks like a robin but it's blue and it's just as annoying as the blue jay sound. But I have no idea what they are. Sorry I don't know much about birds I just know I enjoy watching with my cat and feeding them. (Not to my cat. LOL.)
We love the crows too! The original crows have had babies that have now grown up, so the number of Crows around here continues to increase. They are all still scared of us though when we go outside! 😐
Certainly appreciate the concern. Yes, peanuts are legumes. However, roasted peanuts without salt or spices and that are fresh and suitable for human consumption are typically thought to be fine for wild birds if not fed to them daily. Peanuts can be more of a concern for squirrels, but this is because they are high calorie and don't offer much nutrition to squirrels. Don't feed them only peanuts, every day. If there was a consensus from ornithologists to never feed wild birds peanuts, we wouldn't. Such a consensus doesn't exist. Thank you again for the concern!

that is the largest squirrel I've ever seen.
I'm guessing it was a Fox Squirrel? They get pretty big and pack on the weight as winter approaches.

I dislike blue jays now because of this video. 😂
Peanuts are legumes, they are not seeds. do not feed roasted legumes to birds, do not do this at home.
