@@doubleodave not yet looking to get one from Accurascale that is already programmed. Just looking into what the difference is between Lokpilot and a Loksound decoders. I think I know 1 is DCC only the other DCC&Sound but do I need a speaker and all that!
Lokpilot is basic DCC lights etc but no sound LOKsound is what you need for sound, you’ll also need a speaker and the speaker clip - I’m in the same boat - kicking myself for not getting sound when they were in stock!

I made tea, grabbed some biscuits, came back and rewound to the beginning and heard the message "pause and go make tea and biscuits". Now I have 2 cups of tea and 10 biscuits. By mishandling our Dylington Custard, you say you haven't had, but our tank is still there. you've obviously inadvertently spilt some on the track. I was genuinely impressed and purchased a total of 5. I've recently purchased, as you may have seen, a Hornby Class 60 after watching Torrington Road Model Railway. It's in Colas. Without going into how, this £90 locomotive eventually cost me £24 as a ready model. I've since fitted Hornby HM7000 TXS sound decoder £68. I'm not a fan of Hornby diesel. This Class 60 is very nice. My next locomotive will be an Accurascale Class 31 BR Blue or an Accurascale Class 37 in Dutch livery

Yes he likes to feel the wind in his face from the trains passing at around 7 inches away 🤭💨💨💨 basically I allow it as he pays 10,000 rupees a month to do so👍
It's down to the the stay alive in it dave and it gives a 10 or 20 seconds burst to discharge the capicitor over the points my accurascale 66763 does that too when stopped to discharge the capicitor
@@doubleodave yes the stay alive charges the capicitor from the track power to give extra few seconds to clear points and when it discharges runs forward a bit to discharge the capicitor
You reset your decoders? Set cv8 to 8 and see if that cures it. I’d be surprised if it’s the state of the track causing that. Top video as allways pal, watched it while having a break with a brew while I’m track laying.
Haven’t on Grott yet but it’s the first time grott had done it, I’ll give that a go when I get a minute 👍 layouts looking decent is it about 20ft long? 👍

It did have one in the early days a hornby tornado peppercorn but the hornbys seem to have a bit of an issue with the z21 where they randomly just start going on their own so I sold it. Never say never to another but what I’m thinking is possibly another layout at some point, something more countryside like goathland or the likes.. think that would be good
My HST sometimes randomly turns sound on but even that started going the other day - if I ever get round to it the plan is to swap the decoder to a Loksound and sell the two tts decoders

Just to clarity when you turn your speed to zero as the loco is stopping it speeds up for a short time then stops dead? Cos that’s what mine did 🤯
