I still believe to this day that had we got Cadete in Feb 96 instead of April then we would have won the league in the 95-96 season and stopped Rangers at 7 in a row. We were only 1 point behind Rangers at that point an had we added Cadete in to that team with the momentum we had then we would have overtaken Rangers and won it, Jim Farry however stepped in and deliberately held up the transfer proving not only did Rangers cheat their way to 9 in a row, but also had the SFA collaborating with them.
They cheated that year and every year before and after, for decades. It was in their dna. A vicious, nasty organisation. And their successor club is not much better.

Tommy Burns deserved so much more as Celtic boss. The dirty cheats with their dual contracts may have died but proper justice was never delivered. So sad to think that Tommy and Phil are no longer with us.
Maestro McStay's final stand. What a player he was! Head and shoulders above the rest. Love that moment when he just sent Laudrup to breath the fresh air. Fantastic, fantastic player! Other than that, the number of shocking hun tackles that went unpunished is unbelievable. Robertshun, Fergushun, Bjorkhun, Serbian hun and Aussie hun to name a few. Moore was never a football player in his whole life. One blatant penalty awarded but another two wrongly chocked off. Where exactly was McCluskey's lodge? Also, at least four of them players badly overweight (e.g. McCoist, McLaren, two Gorams). What were they thinking? That they had to play rugby or to contest a pie eating competition?

even with all the cheating that was going on at oldco at the time we still outplayed them...all they did was kick lumps outa us. why skippy moore wasnt sent off for that tackle on mckinlay....maybe im just paranoid. HH
I’d love to see the full game. I was only 13 but I’m sure these first half highlights miss a lot of incidents. I remember Goram throwing a ball at the back of Di Canios head at least once and Di Casio complaining he was elbowed in the neck! Grateful either way. Thanks.
McCluskey just proved to the world that he's a hun mason! Cadette and Di Canio where different class, then big Pierre came in to make the 3 Amigos! Fantastic! That team should have won much, much more than one Scottish cup under Tommy burns! His signings looking back where great finds!! Then the English teams came in to take them away from Paradise but they ALL played there best football at Celtic,Di canio did play well for west ham and scored that scissors kick volley to score a peach!! The Huns did boot us off the pitch all due we where far better regarding skill and flair so they resort to "Souness tactics!"🍀
We only failed due to the Huns cheating on and off the park, assisted by their Masonic brethern match Officials. As this match demonstrated, we played them off the park time and time again under TB.
God bless Tommy Burns. May he rest in peace and be forever remembered.

Correct

Bastards can't get away with it now brother ☘
Ooohhhh it’s a conspiracy 🥹

Allan Mclaran and Mcoist really looked after themselves eh.Just looking so fit and professional for this important game.
What a player McKinley was

They'll always be with us Gareth.
100%. Thing is: Tommy went straight to heaven.
They lost to 1st division Falkirk in the next round.
If Cadete had stayed at Celtic and teamed up with Larsson he could have been a legend and what a front 2 they would have been!
These two teams were absolute top quality dripping with talent 🙌
Moores tackle on Toshiba Mckinley was a disgrace

So clearly three penalties to Celtic first half at least , ridiculous
McStay should have gone to Serie A couple of seasons earlier, just tremendous
The team in blue no longer exist, caught cheating then liquidated

How did that BIG AUSSIE HUN stay on the park after that tackle on Mc Kinlay ????????
even with all the cheating that was going on at oldco at the time we still outplayed them...all they did was kick lumps outa us. why skippy moore wasnt sent off for that tackle on mckinlay....maybe im just paranoid.

Only 15 years later Rangers would be dead asa Do-do.
15 years later they died
Club 2012 sevco 🇮🇪
They obviously been told to take di Canio out
Di Canio Celtic legend.
FFS Robertson on Grant was a stone waller to.

Pierre was signed first, then Cadete then Di Canio 👍
If we'd got the second pen when McLaren body checked Paulo it would have ended up 5 or 6 that night.
God bless all the tims Willie Flanagan
Craig Moore should ave bin red carded ' that wasnt a tackle that was assault on Mckinlay
celtic would've stopped 9iar had they paid more attention to defense and not trying to win oldfirm games in the first 20mins imo
Ref seemed to think you can only give one penalty per game.
Fuckin Yaaaaas!!!
Alan Mclaren done GBH on Di Canio - Clear fucking penalty.
Paul mcstay leaves Laudrup for dead lol.
Falkirk just waiting on the sidelines to knock the winner out.
2 stonewall penalties not given, a red card for Moore not given. Should have been 5-0. Di Canio absolutely outclassed Laudrup.
What a failure this club was in that period. Legends like Di Canio and Cadete who played for a year and couldn’t wait to leave
We only failed due to the Huns cheating on and off the park, assisted by their Masonic brethern match Officials. As this match demonstrated, we played them off the park time and time again under TB.
Two more blatant pens were denied in that first half. Stonewallers on DiCanio and Grant.
typical Scottish refereeing against Celtic.
It's all well and good beating the currant buns in the quarter final but imagine losing in the semi final to a diddy team
