One of the best Bayliner designs ever. A pocket cruiser perfect for 2 people not intended for offshore but trailerable to big lakes and rivers anywhere with a half ton. Simple to work on. Cheap to run. What else do you need??
@@Timmermon63 I'm no veteran seafarer but there are a few things that concern me mainly in it's ability in tough off shore weather should you not be able to run for cover in time. It is only 25 feet long. I'd suggest that that is a bit small for when the going gets rough. It is also noticeably tall for it's length and appears to have a higher center of gravity than what might be ideal. The tall flat slab side windows, a real appeal for me for this boat, would be prone to being blown out by a wayward wave across the beam, despite that huge freeboard for a 25 footer. A single engine is also a bit of a liability but a decent 20 up kicker would be a workable backup. But I still love these boats for 2 people for lake and big river cruising. I've owned a bunch of boats over the years to 22 feet on fresh water. I love to be able to trailer boats to various places. This light little cruiser is ideal for that and for cruising in comfort.
What ?? .They are not not pocket boats, (2 people, huh ? ) they are heavy & relatively expensive to run, ... You sure you weren't looking for a can open with the same model number ;) ... Cheers ...PS, btw, great for off-shore.
It's 25 feet,.. So the next step is basically a yacht, ..wth r u talking about ? ..Nothing is safe in really nasty sea conditions. Unless your going to the Cap , this boat is fine.
@@slydawwg Well buddy. Everyone has an opinion. But if you want to run even a mild off shore squall in a 25 foot, 5000 pound, single engine weekend cruiser like this you are far braver, smarter or dumber than me.
16 YEARS IN A GARAGE UNUSED ;) ... That's like the the lady who sold the gull wing Mercedes for $ one dollar when her husband was out town,... "to get even with him for cheating"... Pls, no stories without documents or proof, U just sound silly.. Cheers
No thanks. Boat has only been used 6 or 7 times and you have to replace the manifolds and trim hydraulics? Can't afford a boat that has to have that done after using it 6 or 7 times. Oh and the carpet is dirty.
Not unusual to have rusty manifold issues at that age. Even if only used once a year. They get wet and rust from the inside out.. Trim cylinders freeze up and leak. Carpet was not dirty, it had a towel protecting it from dirty shoes.
“Toilet has never been flushed! (Disregard the 3/4ths used toilet paper roll on the wall 🤣😂)
LOL yeah. I noriced that too. He said the same thing about the stove. What a moron.
Used up to dry up the leak onto the table that he quickly skipped over!
