I make that same cake but instead of 1/2 cup milk, I do 1.4 cup milk and 1/4 cup coffee. Makes it so much moister and the flavor so much richer.

I agree with you, Bev, they are putting something into a lot of premade foods. There are so many things, including cake mixes that I used to be able to eat, and now I run such severe allergies to. I don't know what they have added, but it really has stopped me from buying them anymore.
