The concept of being a dragon's, or dragon decendent's, treasure after having how much it matters to this character in particular made me feel so valuble I actually teared up and I was wholly unprepared for that. 10/10 script and steller performance

And they are not so much possessive, as they are fiercely protective and territorial. This, is something I accept about their kind whole heartedly. That's an interesting philosophical question! Violence is definitely a common component, but of course gentle yanderes exist. There are a few other things that I think differentiate a regular possessive girl from the yandere trope; a yandere stalks their darling, objectifies them, violates their boundaries without caring about the consequences or the impact on them, and is extremely hostile to those outside the relationship. But it's possible to be possessive without doing those things, I think.
