This hits me right in the feels every time. I always told my dad I was jealous that he saw the Leafs win 4 cups in his lifetime. I lost him in early 2016. Every time I sat in awe of this years team I couldn't help but be sad about what he is now missing out on/what we can no longer share together.
I like to revisit this from time to time but the longer it goes the sadder it is to watch lol. Undoubtedly the best regular season team we've ever had, and yet it feels like I haven't stood witness to anything lol

You've witnessed some pretty great runs to back to back Conference Finals in 99' and 00' and again in 02'. Those teams were capable of winning it all imo. Leafs were a powerhouse in the early 2000's if you seem to be forgetting that.
