Incredible stuff! I cannot wait to order them and give them a try
Thanks a lot for your kind comment - much appreciated! Chris
Can you use the alkyd binder with 3D printed resin tracks?
Sure, no problem here. Chris
Will this also work with enamel binders?
Enamel binders have a bit different procedure, please watch this video: ua-cam.com/video/nc5_yl6xnAE/v-deo.html
@@Vmssupplies thanks! One question, I think I messed up my pigment caps, how to identify Tex from non Tex pigments? 😀
i have several VMS products, really happy with them and need to up my stock. It's a shame they take so long to get here to Australia (normally a couple of months). Any thoughts on a supplier here?
Hi Colin, Happy to hear that I really am, we do have a partnering store in AU, check this out: www.vms-supplies.com/buy-now Chris
@@Vmssupplies brilliant news, thanks Chris. Order on the way
How long did I need to wait without using a hair dryer?
As seen in the video, evaporate the solvent and you can work. 😀
@@Vmssupplies so I see when it’s ready? ;) a question normal pigments from other companies are like the texture free?
can you reuse the pigments that are brushed off
Sure, not a problem either in chunks or easily grind them back to powder state. Chris
Can you put enamel over the top?
What do you mean?
I think he means enamel washes. Would they affect the dried alkyd binders?
In that case no - dry alkyds are very resilient, can't be readily dissolved with any typical modelling solvents.
