I am Hindu but in south india there is a tradition that first preference is always given Mama's doughter for marriage.
its not always but sometimes family decide to convert this bond into marriage.
even Infosys founder's wife also mentioned this south indian tradition in one of her interviews where her husband was supposed to be married to their mama's doughter.

nothing big as such but a little awkwardness between my in-laws 😅 feel shy in front of them and try to avoid them. It's happening from both parties but slowly we are adapting 🙋♂️😌
No change in the bond between my mummy and me, littlebit of new expectations as I am married but not that big. I rarely speak with my mother in law as she become more shy after our marriage 😅
