Steve's combos are definitely on the harder side. You could go decently far with him without relying on combos. Most of the cast has easy bread and butters so im sure you'll find someone else. Once you put enough time into it you'll start to love the process

I wish they didn't remove his most technically pure boxing moves like Cougar Punch and Foul Play. His Ali Shuffle was also exciting to use and a way better taunt move than what we are left with in Tekken 7.
Mannn Steve has one combo I can't do to save my life it's literally impossible. You have to hit triangle then hold down X and O at the same time while inputting square down square. I almost broke my damn fingers trying to do that OP ass combo😂. They need to nerf it down just a bit. I felt like Goku my hands started to go numb and shit lmao.

Dude idk what I’m doing wrong, in the first combo after the df,121 the 3rd hit never comes out. Just the little uppercut the punch that makes the big flash, the 3rd hit just doesn’t come out and I can’t continue the combo

But the thing that I noticed is that when I do f2 1 I go into peekaboo and when I press b After pressing f2 1 Steve goes into flicker stance and both of them delay my f3 2
Sorry for the late response but you gotta cancel it bro. If you press back right after the punch connects you cancel the stance and you go back to neutral and you can do 3+4 without delay. If you got any questions feel free to ask
I always fail to connect Sonic Fang in the end of the combo no matter what I do.. Is there something I'm missing? I'm getting as close as I can but still miss the second hit of the sonic fang

@@ArcySeguraTV They nerfed his 2nd best ch move though? df2? it used to lead to a full launch similar to b1, now you have to do the really hard pickup combo just for 56 dmg, most people have to settle for 40dmg with the ff2 followup. I also believe b1 is less safer on whiff now. (still a top tier character don't get me wrong, but not as strong as he was in s2)
hello, my friend. so i started steve in tekken 5. back then i had no idea how to do anything basically. no knowledge about the game whatsoever. when i saw combo stuff back then people always did a wildman during the combos after forward swaying. just when i recently started tekken 7 i learned how to do this, and this is also how to do this combo, and even other steve combos. when you get into the stance you can do the moves faster than normally. this took me like 50 tries, but i got it in practice once. it all comes down to how fast can you get into flicker, and cancel that right after your double forward sway 1,2 1 2. if you need help i can give you small advice.
@@xRonSKiiSpeeD you gotta do 4(duck) 2 in quick succession, kinda like a 4~2. And it has to be done relatively early. You may be waiting too long for him to end his previous move.

Steve is kinda difficult to learn and needs execution, but it's doable. It'll take you like a day to learn his combos and have them land consistently.
As a beginner i always have trouble against steve because most of his punches look the same in my eyes😂

You need to time your back, so I usually aim to hold back right before the 2+1 hits and that should cancel the move and allow you to F3 FH2
After the df+1[2,1]b, f+3>f+2 can't hit.
