I don't think most realize that there will be no "normal" again. Like you said this is our new normal. Practicing a sense of gratefulness helps a lot with anxiety. So many have lost their lives and although you may want trips and luxurious this and that but your life is the amazing thing you have right now! Someone else said it, pray a lot. I suffer with anxiety as well. Sometimes you need to get away from the world for a minute. Just tell yourself to just make it through the day, I will be fine.
Bree, as soon as my husband and I are able to travel, we are going to Puerto Rico to see our moms. We will probably check into a hotel at some point and really celebrate our 39yr. anniversary. I've been with him since I was 18yrs old and we are still in love! although we fight like hell. ha ha ha .. Well, we're Puerto Rican so you know thar hot blood. Try to stay positive. I have anxiety too, and it’s been very high since the pandemic started, being stuck in the house for three months has been very hard on me, but now it’s getting better the more I get outside and drink my wine. I hope you feel better soon, and your hair and makeup is beautiful ♥️

The concern is that while anxiety may produce shortness of breath & a heavy feeling in the chest but an accompanying cough is uncommon. Black ppl also present with different symptoms as it relates to COVID, often a general feeling of uneasy, something isn't right, and cold/flu type symptoms. Either way.. even if you'd been tested, they would've sent you home and had you do what you're doing. Knowing simply allows you to quarantine a while. Just know when you feel as if you can't breath, sit up...force yourself to move around & don't lay down. Prop you some pillows behind you and sleep upright/ on an incline. You and the baby sound as if there's some chest conjestion. If you have a heated facial steamer.... use that and inhale the steam. It clears the passages. Another remedy is the citrus peels... in water to steam. Peel some oranges & lemon and simmer the peels on the stove or tea kettle & inhale the steam. Some ppl add a bit of salt or eucalyptus oil. Your nose will start running and draining. You may have some mucous to spit out as well. While the states are opening..COVID patients are still coming in. Tbh... many doctors believe COVID-19 was here months before we knew because ppl were flocking to the ED with cold/flu symptoms & breathing issues that were a bit different than the norm. Ppl who are typically healthy were recovering then shit hit the fan. Take care.

Puerto Rico is only a 2 1/2 hour flight. You'll be there before you can check your lipstick. ha ha ha ... Check out Rio Mar hotel. It's so beautiful!! and peaceful. it's only twenty minutes from the air port and right across from the rain forest. You guys can rent a car and see all the sights. The island is only 35 miles X 100 miles. The people are so nice. You won't regret it.
