Christmas down the docks, the best time of the year the men have got their baubles out and the good time girls are in arrears. Is that a fairy on the tree? Oh no avert your eyes that's a kilt he's wearing and his meat and 2 veg are a formidable size. It won't be snow we'll see coming down, but that Scot drunkards whiskey from beneath his thighs. Lyrics ( for XTC by me 12 Jan., 2k&19.)
should have been! it was released as one of the b-sides to the CD single of Peter Pumpkinhead, maybe Andy decided to save it for the Rag and Bone Buffet Vol 2 that never happened? Bric-a-Brac Breakfast, was it?
Some cool bass playing on this one.
Wow Ive never heard this before, would've thought it would be on the Nonsuch reissue but apparently.. not.. Nice work!
it's that time of year again :)
I first heard this on "Rock Over London" in late 92. Fantastic to hear this wacky demo again.
I remember buying the CD Single at the time and being blown away by the 2 home demos. I bought Nonsuch a few months later.
Thanks, Ben!!
