Nelly Talks Emotional Night on ‘Dancing with the Stars’

- “Extra’s” Rachel Lindsay caught up with “Dancing with the Stars” partners Nelly and Daniella Karagach after Monday’s episode.
It was an emotional night for Nelly, who told Rachel it had been a tough week for him and explained why he doesn’t typically open up about his feelings.
I’m 44 so I guess I should have realized Nelly has been around a while but I had no idea he is 46! He looks great!

He’s so sweet. I feel like he needed more compassion from the judges. Im a huge fan and I know all about his life but I cried watching him speak again about losing Jackie. 15 years but it still affects him the same and he literally tried to save her life and wasn’t able to. He will do wonderful next week on DWTS I guarantee it, and i thought the dance was delicately beautiful on purpose although it seems many don’t understand.
They won’t until they experience it 🙏🏾
I felt like the same about the judges being a little more compassionate with him on his emotional night. I absolutely love him.
How did Jackie pass away? I can't imagine trying so save someone and not being able to. My sister shot herself in the head and I walked into it and what I saw was probably the most horrific thing I've ever witnessed.
@@angieb3875 I am so so sorry to hear of what you went through with your sister. No one should have to carry that pain..... Jackie passed away after battling leukemia. Nelly started a foundation called JesUs4Jackie to educate people on leukemia and find matches for bone marrow transplants. They never found a match/doner for her in time and she passed a year or two after. It all happened really fast and he tried hard to find one and advocate for her. May she and your loved one rest peacefully.

My heart hurt for him knowing that he isn’t an emotional guy and he was showing emotion and getting those harsh scores I thought he danced wonderfully this week.
