I've watched a lot of Georgia games in my lifetime as a fan. Very few outcomes have surprised me as much as this one did. This performance came out of nowhere.
This was revenge for the 1999 game in Athens. This game and the run at the end of the season saved our 2006 season, a decent 9-4 record. How Bout Them Dawgs?!
Since that day, the Barn has only beaten Georgia 3 times in the last 15 games. 0 back to back, and 0 in Athens. Now beating Auburn is all but routine. It almost takes the fun out of beating them. Almost.
@@aidenpilot3119 very much like what Georgia went through with Florida in the 90s-00s, except they often got humiliated. Auburn has at least been competitive during that timeframe.

Serving your country in the 90's really put a dent into following college sports for me--no internet, no tv to speak of. I took leave only twice in 4 years and while in Charleston S.C. at a bar around 9 p.m. when normally i'd be chasing skirt i watched Damien Craig (i know it's spelled differently but Key and Peele put into perspective the absurdity of black parents getting creative with the English language) run roughshod over Georgia. What a shitty QB he was. What a terrible team UGA had. 'Payback is a bitch and her stripper name is Karma.' --Stolen directly from 13 hours. Go Dawgs. Hugh Freeze-- be wary Kirby. He's good at what he does.
