I do music as a hobby and we musos have this thing called "studio time" which is when you tell yourself you'll have an hour after work in the studio ... and end up realizing it's getting light outside ! Good job I work from home ! Just taken delivery of an Oval which is a digital equivalent of what Daniel plays. It's an awesome thing. If you watch Daniel's videos he always looks so chilled and happy. This thing is doing it for me and I'm 53 BTW so not a spring chicken. It's important to learn who you are, find your passion in life and go for it :-)
Hello Daniel & James, When you are visiting India again I mean Goa I would love to see you guys I had checked your Arambol video too and I am loving it.
Music is the best medium to share emotions and feelings without using any words, but to everyone. It must be a very special experience to be a musician and traveling the world to share, what you can. I love it and I am lucky to say: Even I can't make any music, I found my private luck far away from my home country. Being broadminded is all we need to make our earth a better place. For all of us!
In the grand case of the beauty that it music, I tend to look at the big picture and while I can understand why most of those in my community (Irish Folk, Irish Rock) wouldn't see it, it would be amazing to have you sit in with one of our bands here [Err.. I'm of Irish descent, but I'm American..) To hear these ethereal sounds mixed with the barely electric and borderline tribal of my heritage would be the experience of a lifetime! Looking forward to more!!
Have so fallen in love with this instrument, never in my life have I fell in love so deeply after the first time I heard you play it. My hearts desire is to be able to play my very own everyday. I love this instrument, I really wan't to play it it's so peaceful and I feel like I will never get bored of it. I have some world percussion instruments already that I love. This is just amazing, I have like no money though and I feel like it's hard to get one. It's pretty saddening.
