It's because of the ridicule and dismissal and lack of investigative effort on the part of journalists for the last 80 years, in the face of an enormous amount of available evidence including testimony by high level military officers (including generals), pilots, governors, astronauts and too many others to mention, that has put us in this place in the first place. It's important that media holds both itself and the government responsible for this truth embargo as its their job to tell us about these things and to hold government to account. They are complicit and in many cases co-conspirators.
