Encounters with Jesus Part 13

John 5: 1-15
A paralyzed man was beaten down by life and his circumstances.
He lay by a pool of water with healing powers, but he couldn’t get to the source.
Jesus came by the pool and was told of the man. He had been an invalid for 38 years.
He was beaten down by life. He had no hope until his encounter with Jesus.
The man didn’t know Jesus, but Jesus asked him if he wanted to be well.
The man told of his dilemma.
Jesus bypassed all of that…He told the man to “Get up, pick up your mat and walk!”
THE MAN GOT UP AND WALKED!
Next the man went to the temple. He was chastised for carrying his mat on the Sabbath. He told them his story and he found out Jesus’ name.
Challenge 1- Don’t be like the religious people who try to crush what God is doing in others lives.
Challenge 2-Ask God to heal and restore you!
Challenge 3-Ask God to use you as you are…limitations and all.
THERE IS HOPE AND A FUTURE WITH GOD!!!!!!!
