I have Turbo petrol manual Top end trim.
It pulls without any effort, easily touches 3 digit speed, Midrange is awesome,This car has an excellent power to weight ratio.
Considering the price and ignoring some cheap plastic inside 😁 it’s a great value for money.

I've been using Magnite turbo manual for past 2 years, totally satisfied. Enough power , features, mileage and much less maintenance. Segment wise nalla value for money an. Personally i suggest turbo version. NA version at this price is value for money allade performance pradeekshikunnadil artham illa. 😊

@abdulnaseemnaseem4108 If budget is an issue, next best option is to opt for a pre owned Turbo CVT, three or four years old. That way you pay only slightly more than non turbo variants but get to experience the top end as the first owner is the one who takes the brunt for the depreciation.
not much worse than a punch amt but still crap. I have seen punch lovers finding peace by blaming the amt magnite

I felt there is a big disconnect between your personal taste in automotive and what you take it for review. Especially with lower segment cars. I felt, you need not pickup cars if you don't like it and sad fact is that there aren't many may be to review like that. I generally don't drop comments anywhere. I felt, you have lots of strengths compared to other Malayalam Automotive Reviewers. If you're picking lower segment cars, keep your taste aside and identify what people expect in the budget range and make a content around that. Best wishes and good luck!
I have nothing against cheap cars as you might imagine. Personal preferences do come into picture coz this channel is all about choices, but they are always evaluated by getting into the minds of the person who will buy it.
Just that this one with the AMT is really bad. In this very video, I have recommended the manual or turbo versions of the same car. If you don’t own one already, do a test drive of the AMT and see if I am right about it. 😄

Magnite cvt turbo should be the better option than this amt variant.I have been using cvt turbo for more than a year now. And it is an amazing car.very good in highways for overtaking with the turbo kicking in and also very good in city traffic. May be mileage is slightly lower in city around 12-13 and in highways 16-17..

Those who don't want safety can go for maruti but I choose Magnite AMT for 4 star safety and affordable price better than exter
I think the 1L NA engine in manual option is a very value for money car. In colors like black it gives you an upmarket feel, has Nissan badge, spacious, 4 star safety, features etc. You need to compromise somewhere with each car 😊

To add on, what if, with the same design element if they bring the 7 seater version of the Magnite which is actually being evaluated for Indian Market.

CVT turbo super aanu. No lag
Recently drove a wagon R 1 litre AMT. While going uphill, AMT change gears in between resulting in loss of power. But when drove in manual mode, it holds gear nicely. AMT works like a charm in level roads. Vivekji, please do a video on Wagon R AMT.

Apart from engine noise and power, nothing much issue considering the price point. Comparing price to price you will not get hatchback with power window from other brands. Even at high price you may get high refined engine with pappdam safety. Also title must be changed ഇതെടുക്കരുത് to റേസിങ്ങിന് താൽപര്യം ഉള്ളവർ ഇതെടുക്കരുത്

But the title is misleading, the magnite serves the purpose of family who needs city commutes with a budget of 7-8 lakh who needs good safety and comfort, with all features.

Micra is a good car. Magnite AMT isn’t. That’s a Nissan press car. If you type the registration number in Vaahan, you’ll see it’s owned by Nissan India.

Our previous vehicle was 2009 model Swift VDI. Our's a 6 members family,so we planned to buy a car atleast to occupy we 6, price also was a point to consider.We purchased Triber AMT in Feb 2023. Shifting from a manual diesel to a such a laggy AMT was a horrible thing.But later tried to understand the nature of AMT and shifting patterns,etc etc. Anyhow now I am happy.I am guessing the Triber 's AMT and magnite's AMT same. ക്ഷമ ശീലമാക്കണമെങ്കിൽ ഒന്നുകിൽ യോഗ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ AMT വണ്ടികൾ ഓടിക്കുക.

The Magnite and Kiger were serious considerations for me at one point. Even went ahead and booked the Kiger after a test drive. Really good cars but later on I got concerned with the fit and finish issues. Also I just wanted something that was lower to the ground so went with the N Line.

Sathyam parayanam, ningal ithinte manual odichitillalo? Njan jeevithathil odichathil "The Worst Car" ane ithinte manual. But i agreee with you on one thing, once you drive this, you really start appreciating other small cars. Like the small M800 or Eon, sold at such budget still how beautifully they drive compared to this. If you want to teach someone that just an engine, transmission and chassis attached randomly doesn't make a car, make them drive this. My biggest dream is to see Jeremy Clarkson reviewing this car.
When you are mentoning mainly on drawback of this car, you should also remember price of this car as you were expecting all luxury features on 6 to 7 lack car
The drawbacks mentioned are for the AMT variant. And that’s with the price in mind. The manual is acceptable, the turbo is very good to drive…just avoid this.

Nice one. Dont really know why nowadays ...4 cylinders are getting converted to 3 cylinders and transmissions from fully auto to AMT's. Bit unfortunate to say. If not for magnite, true that Nissan would have quit.
